Just received the unit this morning and proceeded to set it up for testing. From the outset I was impressed with the 1st class packing. The doorbell camera itself seems solid and the home base unit is small enough and of a nice design that will not look obtrusive or out of place in most homes or offices. Setup for both was smooth and quite easy, with the app (android) guiding you every step of the way. Testing went smoothly and unit seems to work as expected. A nice touch and well thought out design which simplifies the process are the two exposed power-in screws and supplied wire extensions with twist connectors for powering the camera from the mains supply of an existing doorbell. Unfortunately I will not be installing this permanently for few months (it will go overseas), I will try to give another review after using it for a while, but so far very happy with this purchase.

Anker has been producing some amazing products, I use their Robot vacuum's and thought I should invest in a smart door bell. Here are my views on this product Pros: - Day time surveillance prospective, this is a great product. - You can setup activity zone and it tracks them perfectly. - Video quality is really good and you can see the faces of the people who visit your place, even if they press the bell or not. Coz its motion activated within the activity zone. - Storage device comes with the Bell, so no need to worry about storage. - App works great and you can go back and check the history. - I was worried that it wont work properly in the Summer heat of Dubai, but so far its holding on nicely. Cons: - Battery Life is not as stated on the box. It says 6 months battery life and for me it was around 15-20 days. The benchmarks that they have mentioned on the box are just ridiculous. Is it a deal breaker, not really. It is inconvenient but it works perfectly. - Night surveillance is not that great, picture is grainy and most of the time the faces are not properly captured. - Their is a noticeable lag when it comes to communicating over the call feature to the person on the other end. Also I lost the key that comes with the holder (to take device out of its holder for charging), so i tried an iPhone sim extraction pin and it worked just fine. All in all a great product but could be better.

It was working well until after a month it started having battery issues where the battery just drained out quickly and simply wouldn't charge. Got it returned and now waiting for the fresh piece following which will edit my review. They delivered another piece and has same issue. Doesn't work despite being hardwired. It switches to battery and then stops working. This is such a disappointment. I hope eufy discontinues the product or simply just replaces these defectives devices that despite being on hardwire switches to battery and then suddenly in a week it konks off. DISAPPOINTING! STAY AWAY!

Super easy to install. User friendly etc. I do not regret it..
