I pretty much only give these types of bones to my dog. Not only do I think rawhide stuff is kind of gross, she goes through them SO quick. And she is only 10lbs. These she enjoys and it lasts SO much longer. Obviously depends how often your dog chews, but…these last at least two or three weeks for my dog. Sometimes it sounds kind of bad like her tooth is cracking but….it’s not that- just how it gets chewed (she’s had these for years and never had a problem despite my comment not sounding great, ha ha). It helps to have a long lasting bone like this she can chew on. Not really stinky or anything. They can come all different- some she doesn’t gravitate to for some reason but…likes the ones that aren’t too light in color. Not sure why. Ha. Try it yourself and see if your dog likes them. Worth it for me. Not really CHEAP but it’s really the only one I like so far. I don’t only use this brand but- it’s pretty much like the others.

These are great. I have a 7 - 8 lb chihuahua. I have to really watch what I give him because he's so little and his daily caloric requirements are minimal. If I were to give him most chews on a daily basis, I would have to significantly reduce the amount of food I give him, and that wouldn't be healthy. The rule of thumb is that treats should only account for 10% of the calories per day. These chews are great because my dog can chew and chew, and only consume a small amount.The only thing I will say as a sort of warning is that I have to be careful that my big dog does not get ahold of these. He is a 60 lb golden retriever chow-chow mix, and he will take the whole thing in his mouth, suck and chew on it a bit, then swallow it. A day later, he will vomit it up. I think that even if I purchased a really large one for him, he would be able to bite off large chunks and swallow them. I am not taking off a star for this because I did not purchase the chews for him because I am aware that is capable of crushing everything but antlers and horns and swallowing big chunks. I guess I'm just saying that if you purchase these for a big dog, definitely monitor them to see if they are capable of crushing the chew. I would also suggest purchasing a chew that is slightly oversized for your dog.

These are the first ones I've tried but after searching these were the best value. Each pack has 4 all about equal size. My dogs love them even my non-chewer. They are hard and it sounds awful when they chew them because they are so hard but they are the longest lasting chew I have found for my min-pin mix that needs something to chew and THAT is a WIN in my book.I tried the microwave theory and that did nothing but make the little piece hot and an impatient dog staring at me angrily as I couldn't give him his little hot piece back. Maybe I did it wrong.Either way I took a chance on the multipack for a first try and won.Definitely try these for the value and that the pieces are all fairly cut and sized.

I’m not sure what has changed since my last purchase of these, but my 10 pound dog has been able to splinter these into tiny pieces, which he has never been able to do. This is extremely unsafe because the hard pieces are very sharp and difficult to digest. He usually loves these, but now I’m afraid to give him any of the ones that are darker in color as they seem to be splintering badly. The lighter colored ones seem to be ok so far. However when 2 out of a pack are the darker colored ones it’s hard to get value from them.

My dogs love these! I love that they are digestible! Rawhide has always been too scary (health side effects) but my dogs love to chew! So these are the PERFECT alternative. I found them on a recommendation from a friend who works at a large corporate pet store and bought them there. When I saw them on here for a much lower price I was extremely happy! The bonus of turning the little left over kernels into little cheese puffs in the microwave is a DOUBLE BONUS! Yay lol! My 2 dogs can get all their chewing done on these little dog chews, not my furniture and I don’t have to worry about them swallowing anything harmful! I will definitely be reordering these on the regular!

I just received these today, a day early! We have previously purchased Yak Chews before, but a different brand. I saw these for the price and had to get them for our 8-month Yorkie pup to try (chomp) them out.He really likes these chews, and when I opened the bag and gave him one, he was right under my feet, ready to snack. He has had it all day and barely a dent in the chew. For $23 bucks I got 3 packages of 4 small chews! I personally think it is a steal.I will come back at a later time to review these Yak Chews in particular, since I know each brand can be a bit different in their own way.

We have over the years had some less then smokey or for whatever reason bones our dogs ignored. This last batch is horrible. dogs like them to chew but not savor, Previous bones were awesome because no matter the size they can have at it, and the would last. This last batch crumbles, shards, splinters in ways never seen before and do not think is safe. Never before had this happened. Less smokey, yes. dangerous no. We will try again but another like this and not again.

If you have one that likes to have something to chew on. This is the one for you! Long lasting and most dogs love them. I found the first one at another place and she realy went after itSo found these. They came last night I gave her one this morning and she hasn't left it for long all day.
