Great value, fitted old HHD into one and a new SSD into the other. Both drives fit extremely well. Unit looks very smart, but also thin plastic that won't take much of a drop. The built in usb cable is a little short but usable. Note both drives where not recognised by windows 11, but opened drive management, format drives and both working great on laptops, TVs, mobile phones, tablets etc. Great for adding huge storage to a smart TV.

I like these they are easy to use, well made and designed. Simple yet sturdy, they are everything I could've wanted in such a product. Have used to connect old HDD's to two laptops without issue - one being Win 10 and the other being Win 11. No issues. A total breeze. Happy with purchase.

Very neat enclosure for hdd disk!

The whole point of this is that the cable IS fixed, I have lost count of the number of other cases without this facility where the miniature socket goes intermittent after extended use. They are then useless and end up in the bin. Since this case has a standard USB 3 plug which never loses contact it is totally reliable, and you don't have to search for a lead, Fautless! Wish there were more available like this but it seems to be the only one...

a caddy that works great, slide the cover off, put drive in, connect, works... works on pc obviously and also works on xbox for game storage as well (only older/less demanding titles as not fast enough for series x games)

Followed instructions. Installed internal drive inside. Plugged in, formatted drive and worked correctly. Storage very useful.

Was initially surprised to find that this enclosure had a very short hard-wired cable instead of the usual USB-C socket and removable cable. Not a major issue though and I probably could have found that information in the listing. What was more surprising was that the enclosure stopped working after just a few weeks of very occasional use. Windows stopped being able to write to the drive with I/O errors being reported so I tested the hard drive in a different USB enclosure and it worked fine. Returned the enclosure for a full refund.

Estupenda carcasa para alojar tus discos duros de 2,5”, esos que quitas para poner uno sólido, también puedes poner uno sólido si quieres. Fácil de montar y lo mejor de todo con el cable directo a la caja, por fin no andaré buscando donde está el cablecito, todo de una pieza y no se pierde nada. La conexión usb 3 da la velocidad para no estar eternamente copiando.

J’avais des disques non utilisées à la maison alors finalement autant qu’ils servent.L’installation du disque se fait facilement et il est bien calé dans le boîtier évitant ainsi les vibrations.J’ai fais des tests de lecture et écriture sur le disque afin de vérifier que le boîtier ne limite pas les performances du disque.Et bien agréablement surpris car aucunes pertes malgré un petit prix. En toute transparence j’avais peur que les performances ne soient pas au rendez-vous.Bien évidement les performances sont directement liées au disque et avec un bon disque SATA qui traîne chez vous dans un tiroir, vous aurez un bon disque externe pour pas cher.Après une semaine d’utilisation sur mon MacBook, tout fonctionne tels qu’attendu et pourtant j’ai l’ai beaucoup sollicité avec des transferts de nombreux fichiers (sauvegardes) avec des petits fichiers comme des très gros.Bref ! Pour le prix je recommande pour transformer vos anciens disques internes 2.5 pouces en disque externe USB.
