The Turquoise Mine art clock was created by kiln casting different colors of glass into a plaster mold. The result is a stunning abstract piece Which pops with bright color. The 3/4" thick glass gives beautiful depth to the piece in which turquoise nuggets seem to float. There are two brass clock gears mounted on the piece (these do not move) which protrude about one inch to give it a sculptured effect. This one of a kind clock has red hour and minute hands with a gold sweep second hand, and the accurate Quartz mechanism runs on one AA battery. It measures 16" X 6" and is 3/4" thick. It weighs 7 pounds and as such will need a secure wall hanger!
