Highly recommend this bird feeder. It came ready assembled, together with a sturdy scoop and 500g of bird seed great deal there. The birds did not take to it at first but after a short time they now feed from it readily. The construction is excellent as a sliding top door ensures easy access for pouring in the seeds and also it is completely rainproof so the seeds don't get wet, jam it up or start to sprout. I am very very pleased with this and so are the birds.

I have replaced my old bird feeders with 4 of these. They are better in the rainy weather, & I find them really good. A bonus for me is that the item description states that they are designed & manufactured in the UK. Unfortunately, the box they are packed in, & the bird feeders themselves bear no markings as to this " fact ". I wish they did, then they'd get 5 stars on everything.

Was not to enamoured with the filling system I have others that are easy to fill. The seed also hangs up and does not allow seed to drop. I use this beside another feeder and the seed drops into the other feeder trough easily but this one hans up. I use sunflower hearts in both feeders.

This is a good design as the birds can’t knock the lids off. Would recomend.

Birds prefer the long straight feeders

I am disappointed in this item mainly it is difficult for the birds to get to the seed due to the very narrow shelf bit which the seed falls on and due to the damp cold weather the seed is getting stuck and not falling to this little ledge otherwise it is easy to fill,etc.

One of those very rare purchases that exceeded expectations. Worth buying in this format with the scoop as it makes filling so much easier. Lovely little starter pack of feed. Highly recommended.
