Works without stinging your eyea

My eyes are easily irritated and I get styes pretty often, which cause dry skin and flakes on my eyelids and between lashes because of the swelling. This cleanser helps with the flakes and irritation - I use a very soft disposable spoolie every time to help loosen the flakes and sweep them off. It’s helping and my eyes are less irritated. I also use a moist heat eye mask every day to try to prevent styes. Together these things are working well.

This Oust Demodex eyelid cleaner was recommended to me by my ophthalmologist. It works very well, and has reduced the itchy feeling on my eyelids. It's a great product!

My ophthalmologist recommended this to kill the demodex mites that are living on my eyelids. I got some wipes as a samples, but they are prices to by and difficult to find. This dispense foam which I can put on a cotton round for a lot less. The foam smells and feels a lot stronger than the regular OcuSoft. The regular OcuSoft foamed comes with a nice supply of round wipes, but this one does not so I have to uses the less optimal cotton rounds.

After a lifetime of great skin, my face has been ravaged for the last couple of years out of the blue with no dermatologists able to explain why and only "solve" with steroid cream.... and it never solved but just came raging back.A couple of months ago my eyes starting just endlessly tearing and itching (I have no allergies) and a friend said they were experiencing the same thing.... their eye doctor said it was demodex mites at their eye lashes and prescribed some insanely expensive medication that actually hurt their eye sight (!!!)I decided to take a look here and found this product to try as an eye lash wash and see if this solved my personal issue.Lo and behold it did! Not only did my eyes stop endlessly watering and itching, BUT I decided to try it as a face wash.At first it seemed harsh (but my face was ravaged raw anyway!) and it dried up my skin, but I could see a difference in days!I can report that after 4 weeks of faithfully washing my face in the morning and before bed with 2 pumps of this, has COMPLETELY cleared my entire face of all traces of the devastation that was going on.And BTW you don't need much - I still have half a bottle left.I only wish they sold this in a larger size!Good luck everyone!

Ok, so I will try to remember and update this review in a bit. But I’ve got demodex, didn’t know what it was but my symptoms seem to be pretty clear. I got the cleanser and used it today and I am just so grateful for the immediate relief I have in my eyes and surrounding areas. The irritation has been enormous and feels like sandpiper in my eyes at times.I have a appt with an ophthalmologist in two days but am very thankful that this can help in the interim until I’m seen by a professional.To clarify - I would have gotten this earlier but thought I was just having severe allergies for the part few months. But they have recently gotten so bad and are not treatable with any form of allergy med.Really hopeful that this can be a continued part of my treatment plan till it resolvesEDIT - went to ophthalmologist- I have conjunctivitis- bacterial so not pink eye. I am now on antiobiotic meds. However this wash gives me a lot of much needed comfort.

I mean it does kill some of the mites,i can tell cuz I'm getting less of those little bumps that they give you. But it STINKS IT SMELLS LIKE MOLD. I hate using it and also it lasted probably one month tops. Another brand I was using would last 2 months,I think because this is a foam as opposed to a gel. Anyway it's an ok product. These demodex washes always give me styes on my eyes because of the tea tree oil but I will say this wash gives me less than the other 2 I have tried. I probably get one style a week or every 2 weeks as opposed to every couple days.

I was diagnosed with dry eye several years ago. Even with prescription treatment, the symptoms never fully resolved. I'm a doctor so I'm fairly well versed in eye conditions and figured what the heck. May as well try this stuff since the symptoms aligned. It's an easy to use foam. It has a light medicinal scent that I didn't find bothersome. After the first use I woke up with debris and goo around my eye so I thought hey, maybe some critters died. The next night it was less gunk, and the third night, nothing. I've been using it once or twice a day (depending on when I remember) and there is definitely improvement in the itching and the overall "weird" feeling when my eyes are dry. I do think I truly have dry eyes, but perhaps I did have a little critter infestation as well (gross, I know) and this helped with that part.
