No plastic in the packaging, good value. The only downside to some other brands is that they are slightly crumbly so some had broken up in the box. The birds still seem to devour them so I recommend these.

Really good balls and firmly made so not crumbled in delivery or maybe I was lucky but just one half ball in the box so where the other half went is anyone's guess. Great price and noted for future purchases.

The fat balls have plenty of assorted seeds etc but the fat is quite soft and many of them were them smashed up and not suitable to put in the feeders due to the way that Amazon mishandled them during transit. A good product -shame about the state in which they arrived!

Birds love them so they must be good. They don't crumble and they are not affected by rain. This is my second box. I recommend.

I have no problem with the product at all - the birds love it and it's very reasonably priced. However, this is all negated when the box is delivered and half of them are crushed. I picked out the whole and larger pieces and put them in another 50 fat-ball plastic container and you can see how it's only half full. Just such a waste - yes you can put the crumbs on the floor but then that attracts all the pigeons. However good the product is I won't be buying this again as the box the fat-balls come in just isn't up to the rough and tumble of indifferent delivery people.

Good quality at a good price

I don't really know how to rate these. The first box I bought, from Amazon, the birds loved. My fat ball feeder holds 5 of these, and they were polishing off all 5 in three days, so the rating was 5 stars. However, getting close to the end of the box, I ordered another one, still from Amazon. When they arrived, the fat balls were a different colour - grey as opposed to slightly brownish/orangey. I checked the expiry date, sometime in 2026, but the birds just won't eat them, so it seems despite the expiry date they must be stale. The boxes aren't sealed, well they are sealed shut, but they have carrying slots in the side making the contents exposed, so I'm guessing this second box was stored badly? I noticed from the tracking that it came from a different warehouse than the first box. So, I don't know whether to just buy a different brand, or given how much the birds enjoyed the first box, risk buying a third.
