These basketballs are the perfect size for our basketball hoop by the pool. They bounce good and are easy to fill and are good for throwing. They are like a real basketball, just a little bit smaller. You definitely can use them for your regular basketball hoop by the driveway. When you’re in a heated game with the family or friends these are the balls you want. If somebody is relaxing in the pool maybe you don’t want to use these because when the ball hits the water it gives a big splash. We have other Orange light weight balls that are soft and squishy that we got on Amazon that we use when people are relaxing in the pool because they don’t make a splash.. Also when we have friends over with their young children we always just put out the orange lightweight ones because the blue and white ones are hard and the kids throw them at each other and it hurts. We have both types of the basketballs because we like the different options. In my picture I will put the blue and white regular basketball and the lightweight orange basketball. I highly recommend both of them. It just depends on what you’re looking for that day.

Unfortunately this ball was lightly used twice and the seams are already splitting! I’ve never had a ball do this before even under heavy use. Ball was stored inside, never left in the pool, and only lasted two days of light use! Super disappointed in the poor quality!

The ball is supposedly designed for a swimming pool but it didn't even last a month. The exterior synthetic rubber is completely cracked apart. It started to happen within 2 weeks of buying the ball. The woven fibers underneath the rubber are visible. The ball is not yet leaking air, but I expect it will leak within a few weeks.I wouldn't recommend buying this product if you intend to use it for more than a week.

I don’t know why is this considered a pool basketball. It is as hard as a regular basketball. In fact that is what we are using it for now. I just would not use it in the pool. It is to hard and can knock someone out if hit in the head.

I bought this basketball specifically for my pool as I figured it’d be more rugged. Just buy a regular basketball. This one lasted me two months before it cracked and popped. I took it out of the pool every time and our pool is well balanced. I don’t have this issue currently with my normal basketball. Hard pass!

It’s good. For what it is - an inexpensive outdoor ball for the pool - it’s really great. Is starting to wear a little bit, but I literally leave it outside in the pool all day every day… so that’s on me. I’ve had it for a few months and it still works great. It’s got good feel to it. Just an overall solid basketball for the pool.

I thought I was ordering a regulation sz ball, but this ball was very little. It was made well though and delivered quickly - just was too small for adults.
