The E771 Sea Eagle flipper by Real Steel is designed as an everyday carry piece with style. The 3.74" Sandvik 14C28N blade of the E771 is 0.14" thick with a brushed satin finish. The handle is made from black checkered G10 with a very ergonomic shape over stainless steel liners. The Sea Eagle is a scratch-resistant eye-catcher and ready for intensive use. If you are working with the E771, you will quickly notice the subtle refinements and superb action that make this a great value everyday carry blade.

Excellent fit & finish, sharp, elegant, excellent value
I own several Real Steel knives, fixed and folder. The Sea Eagle is of the same high quality as my other Real Steels. The Sea Eagle feels good in the hand, balances nicely at the thumb notch, opens with a flick of the wrist or the flipper, (no thumb studs), with a nice solid lockup and a satisfying click. Blade is centered, no play, sharp out of the nice box (with knife cloth!). The Sea Eagle has an elegant look with a thin line of stainless steel visible around the G10 scales; it feels a bit thinner than the Thor, e.g. The Real Steel E571 is one of my EDCs, and I alternate that with a Ruike P801. Quality on the Real Steel and Ruike knives is very similar. I might prefer the clip on the Ruikes by a little, but that's not a deal breaker. Would buy the Sea Eagle again and recommend it. Check out Ruike, too!

One Beautiful Knife
The REAL STEEL E771 Sea Eagle is a very well constructed pocket knife. It is just gorgeous. When I first saw it I had to have one. Blade is thick at the top and the edge is sharp... not hair shaving sharp, but sharp enough for me. G10 scales have just the right amount of grip. The feel in my hand is excellent. Blade flips out with a nice satisfying "clack". It will also pop out without using the flipper. Just give it a good jerk and out it comes. Pocket clip is kind of tight and may need some bending to loosen it up. It came tip up carry. It is a rather large knife and the flat ground blade is substantial, pretty pointy to. The 14C28N steel stonewashed blade is perfectly centered in the liner lock. Overall the knife has and elegant look and feel to it. I very fine blade indeed. My understanding is REAL STEEL is a upmarket brand of Sanrenmu knives. They are a relatively new brand (2013) and have a small line of fine quality knives.

Flips open very easily. Mine locks up at around 40-50%
Very smooth action on the real steel sea eagle. Flips open very easily. Mine locks up at around 40-50%. Solid lockup. Closes easily. Flipper tab will hit my thumb before it nicks me. After that it drops closed. G-10 scales are well done. The end of the clip is a little narrow, but retains well in the pocket. Well done stonewashed blade. Fairly sharp out of the box, but I plan to polish it up with my ceramic stones and strop.Easily worth the cost. For this price, very strong value.

Really sharp out of the box. Lightweight for its size. Fast deployment. It's flipper only, but that's not a problem for me. YMMV. The only negative thing I have to say is it has a really weak detent. Faster deployment, but it doesn't stay closed very securely.

Best EDC knife.
For me this works best as a EDC knife. Good size, good blade shape, good defender if needed.
