Outstanding Vacuum (Buy the brush attachment!)
We bought this vacuum for our upstairs, to take care of hardwood floors, stairs and small rugs. We’ve used it weekly for over 8 months now. It has been a tremendous value for the money and I highly recommend for similar applications.Positives:- The suction is strong (comparable to our expensive Miele). We did buy an affordable 12” horsehair brush attachment (pictures) for the wood floors, and that combination gets ours floors very clean. It also does well on tile, baseboards and the small bathroom rugs.- Easy to clean! The entire vacuum easily disassembles in less than 2 minutes (pictures). You can clean it in the sink and allow the two filters to air dry. This keeps it looking good and means you can easily get all hair/dust out of the vacuum.- Lightweight! This is very easy to carry around and down the stairs. The unit is about the size of a basketball.- No bags! The canister is easy to dump and clean.Negatives:- The hard floor brush attachment really should be included. (In our other reviews we have the brush and coupler if you want to use our system).- The hose kinks, pretty easily. It feels like thin plastic and expect that we will need to replace it in the next few years due to a really bad kink or rip. That never happens with the Miele.Highly recommend as a great vacuum for this price point!

I did months of research and pulled the trigger on this unit; heres what I thought...
I bought this vacuum after months of researching, specifically for a combination of low pile carpets and hard wood/tile floors. Ive got a labrador thats a shedding machine and now 3 cats, so theres alot of hair and debris to clean often. My beloved Kenmore professional canister vacuum had finally quit after 16 years of service, so anything I purchased had some big shoes to fill. I didnt replace with the same thing because I didnt want to spend the money which even 16 yrs ago I spent about $400.! my vacuum had finally died while I was home during the corona virus closings so Im trying to be careful of expenditures. I was also looking for something lightweight, with a powered head for carpets equal to the strength of my 12 amp kenmore powerhead, and I really like the idea of a bagless vacuum, so I pulled the trigger and bought this one-here is my best review. (Please note that over the years as a home cleaner for hire, Ive used ALOT of different vacuums and that experience also weighed in on my choice)Arrives in a big box but isnt so heavy you’ll struggle. Very easy to assemble right out of the box (cats were thrilled with the big new box toy too)It IS lightweight, I first used it on my lower level hardwood floors.....MEH....at either setting of carpet or hardwood, I was underwhelmed at how it worked on hard floor-seems to throw things around a bit more **I wish they had included a hard floor attachment like I had for the Kenmore(The kenmore one sadly does not fit on the new vacuum. I already tried). It WILL work on your hard floor, just be prepared to go over it alot more especially for smaller things like cat litter size debris.Lugged it upstairs to do the carpet in my bedroom that was so hairy from my dogs shedding between vacuums...It was lightweight as heck and not cumbersome. I decided to do the stairs on my way up since that was the case. The adjustable lower wand made that a snap and is a nice feature. Only drawback is that the cord was not long enough by about 6-8 feet which is what Im used to in most other vacuums. That annoyed me. In order to finish my stairs and landing I had to use two different outlets which really disappointed me.Used it on the filthy carpet in my room, and Im happy to say-I was quite impressed. Horrified at the amount of dirt it picked up besides all the hair, I can tell you that! Used to think I was a clean person lol. Holy CRAP did it pick alot up that the kenmore obviously missed! The power head and unit are easy to maneuver, I can see what some other reviewers meant about hose kinking, but I found that holding the hose during operation helped with that. Remember too, that this is not a $400.00 vacuum with the heavy reinforced hose, and for the money, using your non vacuuming hand to simply hold the hose will be all you need.Only other complaint I have is that theres NO HEADLIGHTS on the powered unit and I found that made a big difference on my eyes. Hopefully thats a minor oversight that will be corrected in the near future. Even the cheaper Sharks that dont work nearly as well have excellent lights even on even their TUBES.Removing and dumping the bagless canister was quite simple and the canister was really full yet I didnt notice a change in suction. The machine isnt noisy at all-alot less so than my Kenmore with the same size motor certainly. I like that I can really take the canister apart and clean it. I thinks its important to do so as once the rubber gaskety bits on the canister get a buildup, thats bound to affect and reduce suction.Overall, I am pleased with this unit and feel its well worth the price. I hope Bissell continues to offer this unit at the same price point but with three minor improvements that would make this a perfect machine; running lights! Longer cord! Hard floor attachment option!Works very well on carpeting, strong suction and easy to use. Not the most efficient on hard floor but thats because it needs a different attachment specific to hard floor so you dont have to go over the same spot multiple times. Also, I love that Bissell helps shelter animals with each purchase. That alone made me proud to purchase.

Light and powerful
All my 30 years of cleaning I have always used a Kenmore bagged canister. Nothing beats it. It's very heavy though! This Bissell is light weight with really great suction. Impressed with the ability to suck upnpet hair. Amazed to see how much does go into the vacuum see this is vagless and I can see it. I do not like the hose at all. It's nice and long but squishable plastic, so if it bends, the vacuum stops working, as when you bend a water hose, the water doesn't go through. Power cord is nice and long. All in all I like it and pleased with purchase. My first, as I said, with a bagless light weight. Not too bad.

So worth it!
I absolutely love this vac. After owning an upright vac but then inheriting a canister vac I was a bit conflicted. I loved the brush and power of the upright but needed de maneuverability and slickness of the canister. So I did some research and almost got a Dyson. Then I came across this baby.... and I’m so glad I did. I LOVE that I get the best of both worlds. The brush roller and the slickness and maneuverability. It’s gentle in hardwood and has great suction on the carpet. I’m a pet owner and this vac has worked wonders. It came with 3 tools that can be used to smaller spaces and the couch. The height is also adjustable and because it’s a canister you don’t have to push and pull on a heavy vacuum. The big wheels helps dragging it around much easier. Overall a great buy for half the price of a Dyson.

Good suction and easy to clean
Good suction and easy to clean. The head is still a bit thick to pass under some furniture. A smaller head would be a good addition to the accessories.

Good on Carpets!
Very good suction. Bought it because of my medium pile carpet in apartment. Does a great job. Only downfall is the power cord is somewhat short, but that doesn't bother me!
