Q: How do you lift the pie crust off this mat? Do you flip it over?

I roll the crust on my rolling pin and place in the pie pan, unroll and presto! This mat is very lightweight and nice

Q: Is it dishwasher safe?

Seems like it would be. I havent done it It’s an odd size to put in dishwasher. Easy to clean in sink

Q: Can this go in the oven?

Maybe. The description says it is heat resistant to 450 degrees. However, there are mats specifically designed to fit into baking sheets, and those are what go into my oven. I would wonder if the printing would remain intact if it went into the oven. Other similar pastry mats have “oven liner” in the description, which I didn’t see here.

Q: Do you still need to use flour when rolling out your dough?

Yes it is always recommended to use flour when rolling out dough. It makes the dough come together better and is necessary to the recipe. It is however easier to remove the dough from the silicone if you use the flour and the dough does not stick as it would on another surface.
