Calyx Interiors Cordless Honeycomb 9/16-Inch Cellular Shade, 26.5-Inch Width by 60-Inch Height, Blackout White

This review is for the Calyx Interior Cordless Honeycomb Blackout Blinds. We recently had a need for Blackout blinds so I purchased a set of the 32.5 x 60" blinds for both sets of windows in the room. The windows measured 32 3/4" and I knew it may be a tight squeeze with the 32.5" but figured I would give it a shot. The 31.5" ones were $15 more each so in an attempt to save $30 I went ahead and purchased the 32.5" x 60.Long story short one of them got lost in transit and they were out of the 32.5 x 60 so Amazon replaced it with a 32.5 x 72. I thought it would be an issue since my window was only 55" tall but the 72" worked fine and wasn't bunched up at the bottom.The pictures are blinds closed (light in room on). Blinds closed halfway (lights in room off), and blinds closed fully (lights in room off).Hope this helped!Regarding functionality of these blinds they are AMAZING. It blocks out the sun / light very well. Since I purchased 32.5" and my window is 32.75" there is literally no light that comes in from the sides. You can hold a flashlight behind the blinds and not see a thing. Calyx has done a great job at constructing these and they are quality built.

We needed to replace an old cellular blind on a French door that leads to our lanai. This was easy to install and works perfectly. NOTE: If you install one and it is crooked when you raise it up, you are supposed to put it up and down a few times after install to get it set. Ours was crooked and I was ready to contact seller requesting return but doing this got it aligned correctly. You can also fix this by removing bottom metal panel and adjusting cords that raise and lower blind, if necessary

Really like these shades - but check the actual shade for length when you open the box! I ordered two (2) of these for our French doors going out to the patio, both 32 1/2" in width. They came in two (2) shipments. The first box received was labeled with the correct width and I hung it, first removing the old slat blinds and discarding the associated hardware. Looked great! Several days later, I received the second shipment and duplicated the installation. Uh, something was wrong - the second shade looked shorter than the first. Got out the tape measure and checked both shades. Seems the first one, while marked with the correct width as actually 2 inches longer than the second, yet both were marked as 32 1/2". Amazon made it right, but I had to wait another week for the replacement shipment to arrive, remove the incorrect blind and hardware, hang the new blind, repack the incorrect blind and run it over to the UPS store. The blinds themselves look wonderful and are a real enhancement in both looks and provide additional insulation on these doors, but it would have been ever so much better without the hassle of hanging, removing, hanging and making a trip to the UPS store just to get the item back to Amazon.

I am so sorry guys, I usually have so many wonderful things to say about Amazon. This time around, we have to return. We ordered the cellular blackout shades for our nursery. My husband was the one to install them, and he said the hanging mechanism did not function properly and even broke during installation. He tried to make it work, but he said the shade would fall off everytime he went to open the window curtains. He does all the shades in our home, and this was the first one that broke immediately. Second, the shade sags down on one side when it is pushed all the way up after only two days. I like to push my cellular shades up and have them not hang or sag to one side. These shades were unfortunately not an option for us We ordered two shades at different times, and they both had problems. Otherwise, I would have thought this was a fluke. The return process was smooth.

I ordered 9 of these for my windows. I received 4 in one box and 5 individual separate packages. I've opened 4, and not a single one included all of the hardware. The hardware was missing completely from one, and none of the others had all the parts that the instructions said should be included. They look like nice blinds, but now I have to get replacements just to get the correct hardware, assuming the replacements have all the hardware. Meaning I had to get new blinds, hope they have the correct hardware, and then send back the blinds with the missing parts. I'm not encouraged thus far.

I have had these now for a couple of months. Really like them and glad I purchased them. The first blind came without the mounting hardware which I found was the case for others. I simply returned them and the blind was replaced. I installed them and was very happy with the look, function and quality. I would recommend these to others. Installation was quick and simple.

I couldn't be more happy with these shades. We got a pair for a bedroom as a test run, and have decided to buy more for the rest of the house. The measurements are right on the money, which highlighted the only issue we had. Our widow frames are out of square, so on one window, while the top fits perfectly, when they're fully extended, the bottom has to be jammed in. This actually works well to block out the light, but it would be nice if there was a little bit of play.

Item described as "34-Inch Width by 60-Inch Height" but the box and product shipped clearly are marked 34.5" width and subsequently did not fit. 1/2" too wide for inside mounting.

These are really really good quality blinds, makes the room dark, not see through at all. Easy to install and fit just right.
