Towards the eastern end of the beautiful island of Jamaica runs the majestic range of hills known as the Blue Mountains. Overall conditions are perfectly suited for the cultivation of the worlds most distinguished and delicious coffee; 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee.

You'll want to know this.
I know what you're doing. You're thinking- hey! Jamaican blue mountain coffee at a somewhat decent price. Wowsers! It can't possibly get better than this!Well you'd be wrong. As follows are a list of things that ARE better, coffeewise, and taste more like Jamaican blue mountain coffee:Jamaican Blue mountain coffee.FolgersYour local over-flavored roasted by special needs people coffee that's not very good but you buy it anyway to support the causeFastco brand coffeeInternal bleeding, though I have not personally tasted this, it looks like coffee grounds and therefore comes closer. The list is endless. This may be from the blue mountains of Jamaica- but it does not have the flavor is jbm coffee. It is probably old, scraped from the floors- the clean crisp flavor you would expect is just not there.

Just want good Jamaican Blue Mountain K-Cups!!
It must have have come from the wrong side of the mountain. It was not even close to the JBM coffees I've had in the past. I thought the Bob Marley was a "brand" that would have an inferior coffee. Boy, was I mistaken. Even at their high price (about $2 a K-cup) But is that really expensive for 100% JBM? Not really, in fact it's almost a bargain when you think about it, and it was far superior to the Rasta Bean brand. I'm not sure why I even thought this RastaBean brand could be good at it's bargain price-I got suckered. I'll pay $50+ a pound for good whole beans, but when time is not on your side and it's just you...a K-cup is nice. Not sure where Rasta Bean obtains its "100% Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee" beans, but it tastes like I imagine fast food retailer's or convenience store coffee would taste like. And that's not good...not good at all. To be fair, I tried several K-cups side by side, and though subtle differences were noted, all four were sub par of any generic K-cup coffee. I had several connoisseurs give it a whirl,at all three settings on the machine, and we even tried it next to Wallenford Jamaican Blue Mtn. and Marley's "Walking Blues" Jamaican Blue Mtn. and the Rasta Bean (in a blind taste test) fared miserably. I used to think J'blum in a K-cup would never happen, then it did, and the two best (and I believe-not 100% sure-I've tried them all) Marley (yes, I was a tad surprised, but very pleased, as Bob would have demanded quality I'm sure:) "Talkin' Blues" and Wallenford Estate are my two personal favorites. Are they as good as Freshly roasted and ground beans prepared in a french press? Hell no! But for a K-cup, they are damn good!-not sure if Marley's version of the 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain is the "Walkin' Blues or the Talkin' Blues, but whichever it's damn good coffee in a K-cup!!

Do not buy this
Terrible! I very much doubt that this is genuine Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, but then I should have known that based on the price. REAL Jamaican Blue Mountain is very robust, bold and smooth. This literally tasted like dirt. I've had Jamaican Blue that was made from old, dried out beans before, and it was also terrible, so I guess it is possible that this is really made with JBM beans that are old and dried out. Do not buy this. Spend the extra and get the real deal.

Not what I expected
Ordinarily, Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is some of the best in the world. This coffee however, is not the best quality roast or the beans themselves is not top quality. Blue Mountain coffee has a robust tast with no bite or bitterness. This coffee has both (bite and bitterness) and none of the former (robust taste) In fact, the "full body" that it boasts is a result of being overly roasted.I do not recommend this coffee for those who know and enjoy good quality coffee.

I enjoyed the coffee and will probably order more
This is a very difficult review for me. I enjoyed the coffee and will probably order more. The box on amazon says Jamaican blue mountain coffee but the box I received only said Jamaica "Blue" coffee. This might very well be a blue mountain coffee but true blue mountain coffee is certified by the coffee industry board of Jamaica which this is not. That being said I did enjoy the coffee.

Gave mine away
Not the greatest taste.. I like the Marley coffee better. The box that arrived had spilled coffee grounds all over the place. It was a mess. End up bringing these into work to share and give away instead of finishing it.

Drinkable...barely
If I didn't know the true flavor and richness and smooth drinkability of TRUE Jamaican Blue coffee, I could have enjoyed THIS coffee. Blue Roastery beats this one HANDS DOWN. Even with the higher price.
