Recently installed a biometric deadbolt lock for our garage entry door to the house and wanted a better color match than our gold brass door knobs that were there previously. This was an easy installation, no surprises, excellent fit, and about 8 or $9 less than purchasing them locally at Home Depot. Delivery was quick, installation easy and they look great. It was a little tricky aligning the second screw hole, but I kept at it and eventually got both screws secured fully on this handle set.

Good quality passage lever with 6 way adjustable latch

These doorknobs are very attractive and very sturdy. They are also easy to install and support both doors with square and round mortises. It takes a couple of steps to convert them for a round mortise, and once they are, they can't be put back into a configuration for a square mortise. The handle feels good in the hand, and the privacy lock has worked well in every door I've used, and pops free easily using the provided tool. I have 40 doorknobs to replace total, so the price stings a little, but you pay for quality. Recommended.

The install says one tool installation, if you are using it as an interior lever you need a hammer to pound the latch in. But who does not have a hammer in their house these days? My former house had the similar style installed and they worked very nicely for the 6+ years we were there. We liked them so much that as we remodel and update our existing house we are installing these. Total time to install is 15 minutes for the first time but subsequent installs will take no more than 5. The first one I installed is very nice and smooth, the second has a slight catch on it but a small adjustment should take care of it. If you need to reverse the handle it is very easy by using the enclosed pin (used to unlock the door) and push it in a small hole in at the base of the handle and pull it off. Reverse and push on--30 seconds. Gave it a 4 for the time being given the little use this particular model and the one that feels notchy. Update: while installing on other doors I noted this was happening to them too. Turns out that a small adjustment of lifting the handles to sit a little higher in the door hole solved this issue on all handles; all handles move smoothly and the latch no longer catches as it is released.

Perfectly matched the original door hardware that was installed when the home was built in 2008. The Schlage brand has always been reliable & I like the lifetime warranty.

work bathroom has a lot of traffic, after 10 year we need a replacement. This was the fit and less expensive than Lowes. Quality well made.

pros : - pretty cons : - purchased half a dozen units, both in privacy and passage handles - uneven machining on the flange - which in their photos shows "perfect" circular covers - they're not; each one has 4 divots from manufacturing - uneven travel of the handle - wobble in each handle without a way to adjust incredible waste of money, cannot recommend

I am using it to replace a similar handle. It was installed in under 10 minutes and works great.

This house had a perfectly good set of round brass doorknobs but it got so that some lining here did not have the grip strength to turn them. Think trapped in the bathroom. I guess this is why some building code require levers. These were easy to install in the existing doors; about 10 minutes per door.
