Alpan 10192 8 LED Pathway Solar Lights, One Size, Oil Rubbed Bronze

Love these solar lights! They are the brightest lights that I have seen without using electricity. The glass is larger than most solar lights that I have seen. I love the pattern the light makes on the sidewalk as well. Because they are bright enough, I do feel they aid in making our home a little more secure as anyone would be seen walking down our pathway. They are attractive and we get lots of compliments on them. They were very easy to assemble and the stake seems sturdy enough. We just put them in again after storing them for the Winter and they lit up very well. They are very pretty lights and I am so happy with this purchase.

Over all, these are nice little pathway lights. They don't kick out a lot of light, so if you really need to see, these aren't for you. Think of them more as decorative, and they are perfect. Only complaint is that one has not been working. I've tried putting a new double A battery (included, but never heard of the brand) and fiddling with it. They are very easy to assemble, no tools needed. You'll insert the batteries/remove the battery strip, then snap everything together. They are very nice looking for plastic. i saw these lights at my son's house and loved the way the lights radiated a star like effect across the driveway. i have been away for the summer and didn't pay much attention to mine. since sitting on the front porch now i notice that my lights aren't as tall (so no projected star) and some are totally not lighting or some have a very dim flicker ..almost like a small xmas tree bulb. any suggestions? thanks

Finally a solar light that doesn't look like a solar lights in that it actually lights up at night! Not only that but throws a beautiful star-shaped pattern on my walkway. We bury these pretty deep so they're very low to the ground which gives them an even prettier look. If you have a narrow walkway or a small yard they might be too large. They looked great on our walkway. Burying them deeper made them less conspicuous and they look great!

What I received was NOT what was advertised. The lights are well made and look great, but I would not recommend them if you want a truly well lit pathway with steps that is suitable for seniors. The glass housing and top are aluminum with an attractive dark bronze coating. The star pattern the lights cast is eye catching, but the overall illumination provided is low for the reduced night vision of a person over 70, i.e., the reviewer. The upside of this is that the lights cause little glare and light pollution. The instructions that are included are pictorial and show how to assemble the fixture. I would have liked detailed information about the AA batteries (one per unit) such as how many hours of full sun sun are necessary to fully charge them, whether they can be charged with a battery charger, with a full charge how long they will provide full light output, and expected life of the batteries based on number of cycles. Since we intend to use the lights sporadically, a switch for the light would be helpful. As it is to turn a light off one must unscrew the top, remove the battery cover and then the battery, and screw the top back on.

THE BEST I HAVE EVER PURCHASED! And I have purchased many.just sent another set back.when the box arrived,i didn't think it could be these as the box was very heavy.these are good steal and heavy glass and not the deceiving pic ones that I have got before.i pulled the tapes off them and all were lit out of the box.really heavy and measure 7 inches across the top! they are huge and stand over 12 inches out of the ground.will update later on the reliability..also the batteries are replaceable so they should last forever.i was pleasantly surprised.

Arrived as stated. Lights are very nice, not to bright and they cast a nice pattern on the ground. I only gave 4 stars because we just installed them and have yet to see if they last several years like my last solar lights did. I will be ordering more for my yard.
