Flimsy, for light duty only.
It can be hard to tell from pictures what a product is like. I needed a sturdy latch for a five-bar gate. What I got was a flimsy catch that was simply not up to the task. I was about to send it back, but then swapped it over for a stronger catch on a smaller gate that had been over-engineered for the task. My guess is that the old latch, which has been going for about 20 years, will outlast the new. Be aware, this latch is for light duty only.
