I have chest size 38" what size would i need, I'm also tall and slender 6'2"

I would recommend size large. It should fit your chest a little loose and just about reach your belt line. A smaller size would be tight across the chest and a larger size too loose. So yeah, go with a large. I have a 40" chest but Im 5'8" a large fits okay. A little snug in the and just below the beltline.
