Weak magnets and slow charging speeds, you get what you pay for
This one is an instant return for me. I'm very suspicious of the rave reviews of this product as it is simply just not very good and is nowhere near being a viable alternative to Apple's charger. Having tried Apple's Magsafe in the Apple Store, I know what it is supposed to feel like when the charger attaches to the phone and this ain't it. It should be an instant, and very strong attachment that securely stays on the back of the phone that doesn't budge unless some force is applied. This Yootech charger doesn't have anywhere close to the satisfying click and strong magnetic hold that Apple's does. It doesn't even stay put while on the phone - the magnet isn't strong enough to keep it in place, so it rotates around and the cord tends to just get in the way of your hand. It's really annoying. In terms of charging speeds, it's incedibly underwhelming seeing as all it is is a standard 7.5w that we've been able to get for years with any standard Qi charger, meaning it's half as fast as Apple's 15W charge. This provides no additional charging benefits from a speed perspective. I'm not sure what the point of releasing a Magsafe charger is it if it is not to take advantage of the actual technology. All this is is a wireless charger that is somewhat more portable than a standard Qi pad.Lastly, it's clear from the pictures that this is a bigger and uglier version of Apple's version, but in person the difference is quite stark. This thing is pretty massive, and when you consider that it's double the size but charges half the speed, buying Apple's charger for double the amount you would spend on this thing starts to sound like a deal. It's simply not a very good product and the only reason why it's seeemingly popular is that it's the only third-party "alternative" that's been released by a company anyone's heard of. I couldn't possibly recommend this to anyone who actually wants the benefits of Magsafe. I'll be purchasing the Apple one, and I strongly recommend anyone who's considering buying this to do the same.

Very Underwhelming
Ordered 2 of these charger. Took a week to receive them. When I finally got it, I was shocked how big they were. I tried it out with an iPhone 12 mini and it was comically large. I tried it with a regular iPhone 12 and it’s still large compared to the real MagSafe. You might as well get the Qi charger that this company makes, which I also have. They almost the same size. The Qi ones are cheaper too.And the one that really disappointed me was the magnet. Man oh man, the magnet was really underwhelming. I have a thin Spigen case and when I used this charger with it, it just slips right off. If that’s what you’re looking for then this might work for you. Even when I take my case off and it’s just the phone and the charger touching, it’s still very weak.Returned item immediately.

I’m an idiot. This thing is amazing. Use more than 5w.
EDIT: I am an idiot. I tried it with a standard 5w and obviously it was not enough. Tried it with a battery that outputs 9v and 12v and the usb c used 9v and usb a used 12.Can HIGHLY recommend. It wasn’t sticky because the back has a really nice silicon material on it. Easily ripped off and is thinner plus I can now stick it to anything. Saved the silicon base because it was so niceAdditionally, it actually leaves less of a circular mark on the back of the case than even apple’s own products.Previous post (NOT TRUE, THIS PRODUCT WORKS!)“Came defective, along with a card that says if I write a 5 star review, they would send me $20. I don’t think this is allowed, and is probably what is driving up this item’s reviews. It does not charge at all. The magnet is, however, strong. The design is neat because it comes with a USB C to USB in one. UNFORTUNATELY, IT DOESNT WORK AT ALL.”Again. This product DOES WORK. MY PREVIOUS REVIEW WAS FALSE. I just used the wrong power source. I’m did a whoopsie. Sorry

Ordered two. One has already cracked
UPDATE:I initially liked this charger so much, I purchased a 2nd on soon after the first. Both units work as advertised, but the original unit developed a crack. Seeing as it just stays on my nightstand, I assume the crack developed from heat, and not from being dropped or abuse.Aside from poor build quality, the units both work well (even the cracked one still charges my phone), and it's substantially cheaper than the apple branded model.--------------I’ve only had it for about a week, but I really enjoy this charger. I’m using it on an iPhone 12 with the Apple branded mag safe charging case. When the charger is plugged into a usb-c port, I get the mag safe charging animation and graphic on my iPhone 12, indicating that it’s charging to the higher capacity. When using the included usb-a adapter, it still wirelessly charges, but I assume at a slower rate. The chord is long (longer than the chord that comes with traditional iPhone charging cable), and I appreciate the included usb-A adapter, which allows me to still use the charger with older USB-A ports when a newer usb-c port is not available.Best part is not having the wear and tear on my lightening charging port by constantly plugging/unplugging my device.Overall, very pleased with the purchase and would do so again.

Extremely dissatisfied with Mag-Safe charger connection capability
The media could not be loaded. I am unsure what the term 'sheerness' means to give a rating for, as the term does not relate to a quality of this product. Hence I have rated this with a "1".This product arrived on 4 February 2021, and worked fine until today. This afternoon I placed my iPhone 12 Pro Max (with an Apple silicone case) on the yootech Magnetic Wireless Charger. The unit magnetically attaches to the phone as it previously has, BUT it seems to be repeatedly trying to connect, with the phone lighting up, a tone sounding, and then going black every few seconds. Video of problem as shown. This is proving extremely irritating - I am hoping for a full refund though I no longer have the original packaging. I will then purchase the Apple OEM version.

This charger doesn't work fully
It is value for money compared to the apple charger however I would not recommend buying this. The simple fact is that it only charges through USB, the USB C option doesn't work. I have plugged it into my MacBook (most logical as this is for people with apple products) as well as numerous other USB C Plugs and it simple will not charge. However if you plug it into a normal USB port it works, completely and utterly useless as NO MAC COMES WITH USB ports NOW.Honest assessment, it looks good but given that it doesn't do what its core purpose is dont wast your money and buy the original apple charger.

Works properly.
It works as it should. Charge phone and magnet engaged properly. It even charged wireless earpods. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit into any holder/stand. So if you don’t mind just placing your phone on it, this is for you. However, I’m regretting not paying attention to measurements when I bought it because I would have liked to have it in a stand so I can see phone screen on bedside table.

Good value for money. Doesn’t charge as fast as apples
The charger works and secures nicely to the back of the phone (through MagSafe safe) but it doesn’t change anywhere near as fast as the Apple charger. You will struggle to keep high charge if you use your phone a lot, like I do. You still drain faster than it can charge it seems. But, for a 3rd of the price it’s bang on for over night charging or leaving your phone for a bit. The Apple one seems rapid by comparison. Also, although it is 1.5-2x thicker than the Apple charger, it’s not obstructive at all when using your phone while charging. The cable is also longer than the Apple charger so you have more space to move.

Nice long lead, good magnets and built in type a adapter, best lead I’ve had…
I’ve bought a few of these from aukey to spidgen (ok to terrible) but found this to be my favourite for the extra bit of cable they have and the handy built in adapter to use with older type a bricks,it’s got a nice rubbery back so doesn’t slip about on surfaces. The only downside is it’s not MagSafe proper in it can’t be stacked with say a wallet stand. That seems a common feature that isn’t on these third party MagSafe pucks where you can easily stack all MagSafe items,I have a couple of wallet stands I like (MOFT X & others) using & float mode is really good for watching videosFor the money it’s the best option out, just having a decent cable makes it better than the rest.
