Love in the ForecastIf you've ever wished to watch a romantic movie with rain in nearly every scene your wish has been granted. The story is that a weather girl and a farmer move next to each other into townhouses with a shared wall. At first they complain about dog barking and loud music but soon become best friends.These two are not dating but end up spending a lot of quality time together hanging out at each other's homes. Nothing happens until the guy's ex girlfriend shows up and tries to reclaim him as her own. This of course wakes up the weather girl who realizes she may have lost her chance at love.So the plot is simple and yet lots of sweet romantic moments occur throughout - a lot of umbrella scenes and downpours. A lot of storms and rain.Will science or nature win in the end?The gang is back on this one, you may recognize them from the Glamping movie.Romance in the AirThe serene views of Lake Tahoe are worth spending the time to watch this movie but I'm not really sure how I feel about the outcome. The woman who is the main character seems to be living with her boyfriend, or at least seems on intimate terms with him and he's in her house. Of course going on vacation changed all that. How quickly can you fall in love with someone else? Apparently fast if you happen to have a history with this person.Well it seems like everything works out OK for everyone and there are no hard feelings. Even though the boyfriend seems like a good guy, he really has a secret. At least everyone was spared the pain of marrying the wrong people. Although it seems to me it is the guys in this movie who really luck out.It also felt like the main character took the easy way out and was not upfront about having a boyfriend. I wonder if a Hallmark movie ever ends the way you don't expect it to! OK there were a few surprises but otherwise a normal course of events.Cindy Busby was her normal energetic self in both movies. She's a great actress and I always enjoy seeing how she become the part.~The Rebecca Review

This disc comes with two movies with the same actress being the main character in both. They are both decent Hallmark movies that are slightly different than the usual formula.In Love in the Forecast, the main character works for a TV station delivering the weather on air, but she does not actually work on the forecasts. Her goal is to be able to do that. She ends up moving into a new apartment that is a duplex townhouse. Her neighbor is a guy about her own age who moved to the city to work at a dairy company but who misses the farm. The guy is folksy about predicting weather based on things you can see in nature. He tries to get the girl to relax a bit and see nature. Over the course of time, they become good friends but do not officially date as the girl has sworn off dating for one year to enhance her career. A lot of the things that happen in this movie are sort of typical of a Hallmark rom com, but the main idea, weather forecasting, is a nice departure from the cupcake shop, ad agency or bed and breakfast job that seems to be in many of the movies. This one has a nice feel to it and the main characters work really well together. The girl is aggressive in trying to achieve her goals, but likable as a person. The guy is very understated and easygoing. They make a good pair right from the start.In Romance in the Air, the main character does work for an ad agency but as the movie starts, she is sort of burned out and not on top of her job. Her boss sends her on a mandatory vacation. She decides to take her best friend to a cabin her parents own at Lake Tahoe. When they get there, she sees the neighbor who was her friend when they were younger. He now owns a hot air balloon tourist service which isn't getting many customers. As they get re-acquainted, she decides to help him advertise his business. They are successful and he gets more customers. In the meantime, she struggles with what she wants to do in life. The movie has a couple of odd things. First, the friend definitely ends up being a third wheel on many outings but doesn't seem to mind. It works but seems odd. Second, the main character has a boyfriend back home who seems very nice and is a good guy, but she never mentions him to the neighbor, even as they get close. It almost feels like a bad case of cheating on a good person. The whole thing works out well in the end, but along the way, these two things seem quite odd.This is a decent two-pack movie if you like Hallmark movies. The production quality and acting are pretty good in both as far as these kind of movies go and they have some good actors who have many of these movies and are good at their roles.

I am a big Hallmark fan and loved these movies. The only issue was the disc was loose from the case we moved around. Upon opening the plastic wrap, there were scratches. Still played good though.

I like the actors in both of these movies, Since I live by Conway I was interested in the first movie, Loved the balloon rides too. Pretty scenery.

Well, I really like Love in the Forecast, but not Romance in the Air. I had to buy the two to get the one I like. I really do not like that they put 2 and 3 movies together. I would much rather have them separately. Please make them separate, I end up with movies I really DONT want!!!

Fun movie even though they drag a bit.

Need a nice clean movie in light of what is going on in the world today

Good quality dvd's with nice scenery and happy ending Hallmark romances.

This DVD is for zone 1 USA, and will not play in the UK, so useless. I would like to give 0 stars because it did not give this info anywhere on Amazon. Daughter is very disappointed. We will be seeking a refund.
