Good product
Great product, good quality, a little goes a long way follow manufacturers instructions, and you will end up with a nice even high gloss mirror finish.

It is thinner
Easy to use and works. And stinks. It's thinner after all. Wear a protective canister mask that's rated for this purpose. I used it for thinning the stain and the first coats of Total Boat varnish, which specifically calls for this thinner.

Good customer response
The thinner seems to work fine not just as a varnish thinner but as a cleaning solvent before you varnish The best part is that total boat has a line you may call to talk to a human when you have questions they seem to bend over backwards to help -it is on this basis that businesses prosper and where I spend my money

Why risk all the time and materials by using other thinners ?
If you’re using the compatible finishes, its a must-have, otherwise why invest all the labor and other costs and risk early failure. Thins out Gleam2 at 25% for smooth first few coats, Outdoors so odor not an issue. Hoping the investment over paint thinner will give a durable and high quality finish. Still need to sand next day to add more layers if you want it smooth

Works as advertized
I was going to to spray Total Boat Gleam 2.0 on some high end canoe paddles. SoCal's AQMD prevent me from doing so, so brush it was. After prepping the paddles by sanding and cleaning up the dust, I applied Gleam, thinning with this thinner 50/50 for the first coat. The second coat was diluted 90/10 Gleam to SBT. The following 4 coats were straight Gleam. WOW! These paddles look as good as or better than the day I bought them. I was so impressed with the results, I used this on my front and a side door, as well as a piece of furniture. I'm restoring a Hammond Organ from 1927 that sounds great. I just ordered more Gleam for this project. The finished look is some of the best I've seen. If you're spending your hard earned money on a top of the line product, do it right and enjoy your handiwork for years.
