VenustasMen's Heated Jacket with Battery Pack, Windproof Electric Insulated Coat with Detachable Hood

I think it works and is Awsome!! I usually have had a high dollar jacket from carhartt or Mountain Hardware ect. and this feels just as well made! Is very comfortable, I really like the sleeve cuffs, they don’t get in the way of my hands. The jacket fits and feels very comfortable, and the inside is not uncomfortable, but I don’t love the mesh kinda fabric interior. I wish it had like a smooth fabric/quilted lining, or ideally even have a zip in for a polar fleece jacket with ykk zipper, to make it even warmer. Even just a fleece liner would be nice, I really don’t prefer the mesh but it doesn’t do anything I can really complain about functionally. Otherwise great jacket! Battery is obviously a little bulky but I mean it’s probably the best least bulky design i have seen. And the battery is very well placed. Very happy I purchased this over the Milwaukee witch is much more expensive. And has a much more bulky battery design, with worst placement if you do any sitting, like your car/truck, If you want like a work in shop or home garage jacket standing mostly and have Milwaukee batteries or makita or something already, I may more heavily consider that. But as far as a overall comfortable jacket for every day sit in car use ect., this is a much more comfortable jacket. And nice because it’s fairly warm on its own but with the heat it can become a winter parka with 3 warmth levels. I would say low is perfectly ok with just even standing or sitting in 30+degrees, past 55 degrees you don’t really need the heat on, from -10 to 30 Med is Awsome”make sure you let it warm up first though” (just hit the button for five seconds and it will just warm up on its own to medium). And high is for much colder than that and the battery definitely does not last very long on high. With most heated jackets anyway that true. So if that cold regularly you should just put on like a polar fleece, mid layer jacket, and just run medium. I also love the zip off hood and how cleanly it was done to the jacket. But I have no opinion on the hood itself as I have never used it. I prefer a hat. Also I wish there was a purchase option that came with a second battery. For travel or just redundancy. Overall it’s great!! it I will buy a vest and spare battery next.

Bought this coat for my Hubby; as we live in New England and he works outside. He absolutely loves it!! He charges it over night and it lasts him all day. It’s super easy to charge and can even be done on the go. The hood is detachable which is nice, the coats fabric is soft/made of excellent quality and the overall design is beautiful. It’s plain. But sleek. (Not a ton of bells and whistles which is nice). Highly, highly recommend. He’s been using it pretty much every day since Christmas, without any issues. But if anything changes, I’ll update.

I have been searching high and low for a heated vest or jacket! I am always cold! Always. However I am a plus size woman and I can never find anything that will fit me I have tried 3 other brands from Amazon and they were way too small. I found this one and they only come in plus sizes. Yahhh!! I normally wear a 3x comfortably and I always have layers so I can stay warm well I did go a size up but I don’t think I would have had to, it was true to size I have lots of wiggle room I was nervous about getting my size because nothing has ever fit me before. This is men’s so I should have went with a 3x but was still nervous! The sizing is perfect even with layers on undeneath I still had plenty of wiggle room. I am so very excited I found this and it fits!! It has pockets and it gets warm fast. I was too excited to try it on and write a review that I didn’t wear it long enough to see how long the battery last. However it has a different plug so the battery pack is not universal it has a special plug for this jacket only but it does have a usb and usbc on other end, and the battery pack comes with its own charger. I am so happy I got this jacket!

12/15/20 Update - the heating element on my jacket stopped working roughly 1 month after purchasing. I have 2 batteries that are fully charged yet it won't even turn on. Waiting to hear from Venustas about this issue.I received this item last week. I work for the USPS where I walk outside roughly 15 miles per day in the elements in Northern Indiana. I'll start by saying that the coat looks great. Everything about it looks like it should cost $150 and the materials feel very high quality as well as it being very modern and stylish. If this were a jacket that had "North Face" stamped on it I could easily see people buying it at this price without the heating element. The Jacket is made of water resistant material. I've found through using it in the rain that if it is a light rain everything will roll off the jacket. But if it is raining heavily rain will penetrate the jacket and you will need to wear a rain coat over it you are outside for a prolonged periods of time. The button on the jacket you use to turn it on also looks just damn cool when it's on especially at night. It's an LED circle that lights up either blue, white or red depending on the heat setting you choose.If you are buying this jacket and plan on only using the heating element 3-4 hours or less on the lowest heat setting before recharging it then this is a great heated jacket for you. Even on the lowest setting you really can feel the warmth it creates. From testing it with two Venustas batteries I got about 3-4 hours of heat on the lowest setting, 2.5-3 hours on the medium setting and 1.5-2 hours on the highest heat setting. So if you are buying this jacket because the description says the heating element will last 9-11 hours on low and you want to have it turned on all day then be aware it lasts less than half that length and you will need to buy at least another battery to get 7+ hours from the heating feature even on the lowest setting.As I said, when the battery/heater was working it felt great. I wore just a shirt and the jacket so I didn't feel all heavy and bundled up, but still felt warm. It really allows you to move very quickly outside when it's working since you don't have to have all those layers on. So if you're buying this with the intention of only using it an hour or two then it's probably 5/5, but I bought it based on the claims that the battery would last all day on the low setting. I would have given this a 3.5/5, but the Venustas support team was 10/10 on communicating with me and responding to my issues so overall I'd give the jacket a 4/5. This will be a great heated jacket that is made of great materials and very stylish to many. But if you expect to buy this jacket with the single battery and have it heat you all day then this ain't it.

We bought a jacket for my daughter last winter and she loves it so much I bought one for husband this year. The insulated jacket is great quality on its own and very warm. There is no heat in the arms but it was not mentioned to be an issue. It is very easy to use and keeps them very warm. No more bulky winter coats for them. The fit is on par, I suggest you measure to make sure you are ordering the right size. They like the heated shoulders that the other coats didn't have. She even wore hers for Ice Fishing on an open aired lake and didn't get cold.The battery for my daughter's jacket is defective and no longer works after just one winter season usually on low but I will contact the company about that and see. I believe there may be a warranty.Aside from this no other concerns. Good buy!

So I'm a extreme sport enthusiast & this is hands down, the best jacket I've owned on all fronts. Why? Well because how it fits for one, not clunky or bulky & very warm without the heat on. Further, the hood comes off, the cuffs cinch, & waits can be drawn in. Also, from a going out to restaurant or shopping point of view, looks good too. Not my jam but you know what I mean. Battery is kinda cool cuz it's 7.5 & has a digital battery 🔋 status indicator instead of cheap led lights as most. Further, I've utilized this in -45 weather this year, lasted all day & kept my more then warm enough. Had 20% battery after using for 12hrs (Keep in mind it wasn't on constantly or I'd overheat). Best part of it all, it's affordable. I've owned Oakley, Nortface, Columbia, etc. they can all eff off now, I'm set.

I bought this Jacket when it was on sale and thought i'd give it a try. The quality, and thus value, of the jacket is very nice. It was constructed much better than expected for the price I paid. As it was not bulky, I was concerned that it would not be effective in really cold temperatures, however it has performed really well, which allows me to not have to use big bulky down coats in really cold temperatures. The customer service is outstanding. I had , what i thought was a glitch with my battery, and they were very fast to respond and eager to help. I regularly wear my jacket, especially in cold hockey rinks, while others drape themselves in blankets! Really happy with my purchase and would recommend this jack to others, for every day use, in non extreme temperatures. my only suggestion would be to change the location of the battery storage, probably to the side of the jacket, or a little higher up from where it is now, as it can get in the way when in the sitting position.

Impressive jacket! It really does the job when it comes to keeping you warm, and the battery life is quite remarkable. I actually purchased two of these jackets, and while one of the batteries unfortunately arrived dead, I was pleasantly surprised by the quick and efficient response from their customer service team. They sent me a new battery within just a couple of days.Both jackets are working perfectly now, and I couldn't be happier with their performance. I plan to update this review in a few months to provide more insights on how they hold up over time. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and the excellent customer service experience.
