I bought this meat thermometer to improve my grilling. I was used to "just knowing" when the food was cooked but saw many videos mentioning specific temperatures for specific kinds of meat. I also bought these thinking they were wireless, which they are not. I have found they are easy to use; they provide accurate temperature readings on the phone app as in the base itself. They also coincide with those on a handheld thermometer. It has taken the guesswork out of the cooking and I am very happy. The price is much lower than wireless thermometers and it does the same job. More expensive units have other functionalities and I may upgrade in the future but for now it does very well indeed.

Edit: I saw someone saying the app has been removed from the AppStore in iOS. That’s true but they released a new version of the app that works with the thermometer, called DoqausLink. They should have let people know though but it’s not unsupported.I didn't rate the accuracy because I didn't measure it, but food came out great when I used it so I guess it's not off by a lot. It's otherwise very easy to use, and very convenient for the price (I got it as part of a combo, though) the probes are long enough to use comfortably, I have no complaints.

I can't get the battery cover to stay on, and that's really my only complaint. It works quickly and accurately. I really like it.

Works fine but the battery cover where the magnet is located does not stay on. It is to light and constantly falls over and since the magnet keeps falling out it can't be secured to the grill. Maybe some tape will hold it on. That what I like to put on my new products these days. I will gladly pay 3xs the price for a complete product next time.

I think this is a good thermometer for cooking however the wireless connectivity range is over exaggerated. I could barely get 25 feet away from the unit and had to constantly check my food as it kept beeping all night to let me know the connection was lost. Sorry, but that’s what I bought it for. I returned it.

This little thermometer has been awesome. This thermometer is super important for smoking meat especially with a old school smoking since I can more accurately monitor the internal temp of my smoker.Its accurate. It has two probes. Each probe has its own read out, temp limits, warning settings, minute by minute temp trending - all sent via Bluetooth to your phone (so long as you’re reasonably nearby).I can’t justify spending 3x the money or more…

the back panel falls off all the time its really terrible and it just doesn't want to work. If your inside and its outside the Bluetooth doesn't really work

Got it set up in seconds with my smartphone. I had no idea it was magnetic, it makes it so much easier to access the hopper on my pellet smoker. I am glad I can now just check on the temperature from my phone instead of having to go outside and manually check it like I used to. Helps me stay on task at home with whatever I'm working on.
