Red ceramic pomegranate, made of eartehnware clay and handpainted with acrylic paint. Its contours and reddish hues make it surprisingly realisitc and very lovely.The colours may vary from piece to piece, some might be darker red and others lighter red.It is a spur of the moment colouring decision.We want our pomegranates to look very natural, especially when placed together in a bowl or elsewhere. This is the larger of the two pomegrantes pictured together. It can also be hung from its 'stem', where the leaves and the ribbons are tied together on the fruit.This pomegrate measures 8.50cm x 5.50cm ( 3.35 '' x 2.17 '' ) and it's a light piece of pottery.
