Great product, easy to use.. only issue I've had was the seller placed the postage label direct to the product box.. as this was a gift it made it hard to keep the box undamaged while removing the label.

Side scope is a fixed plastic mould that was considerably inaccurate, so worth noting
Tripod is excellent, sturdy but scope lacks some stability. When using barlow x3 lens or phone adapter there is considerable drop on telescopic extension and the weight makes it difficult to fine tune the focus. Also I had an issue with the side scope which can’t be adjusted - found after a week of not being able to line up with selected object that the side scope was in view finder about an inch lower visually through it, than the object I was trying to focus on in the main scope. I am sure this was just an unlucky manufacturing fault as others have rather the scope as excellent and for the money It might well have been.

Pile of rubbish
First off I understand this item was not £100s but it comes up as the no1 beginners telescope via Google. With this I would expect a certain standard and this does not meet any. It is a very loose and plastic built toy. I say toy due to the flimsy cheap quality.Facing the moon with the finder (cross hair lens) you would think now ill look through the main leans but no! You have to hold the scope and twist the lens so it lines up.This was a waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS SCOPE.It looks good and comes with all the right stuff but its not fit for purpose.

Need some help!!
As usual anything from China has terribly translated and poor instructions but after some time we got it set up. So far the only thing that works is the 20mm lens but the white dot in the sky is still a white dot but with a nice reflection of my eyeball. The whole contraption of fixing the scope to the tripod is wobbly and no matter how much you tighten all the fixings and the handle it is impossible to keep it still. Not great when you spend ages setting it up and need to keep the position. The red dot finder seems to be useless and it points absolutely nowhere near where the scope is pointing. It has lots of adjustment but is very loose and won’t stay in position. Not off to a great start. This was a gift for an adult and I’m really disappointed as quickly went from a “wow” present to a “ well I’ve read loads of on line instructions and reviews and watched loads of videos but still can’t get it do anything”.Wish I’d bought something else with proper English instructions and spent serious money. Feels like I’ve bought a cheap Chinese made toy. If someone can help me out I’ll be very grateful. Otherwise - glad I kept the box!!I’m a bit embarrassed that I bought this as a gift. Unless you really know what you’re doing don’t bother buying this. It’s certainly not for beginners yet it is too poor quality for professionals.

Better than expected
Light weight good feel getting used to using .. Good eye pieces etc .. no alignment as such to do ... Maybe the tripod could be a bit more heavier feels quite light . For price paid great quality . Think I'll be purchasing essnlb items in future

Easy to use and good results overall
For now, I only had the chance to use under pretty light polluted skies but it is nice already for seeing the moon, Orion's Nebula, the Pleiades or some bright double stars (considering the small aperture of course). With the small x5 finder, you'll almost see nothing in there under polluted skies, so you'll have to guide you with the brightest stars only and target manually with the x16 eyepiece which is not easy. I think overall for the price and practicability (there's possibility to leave the finder on the scope and just put everything in the bag, that is large so everything fits, and that way less than 1min is needed to set everything up), it is a good product, the optics are good but you will not be able to see things too high in the sky, it's hard to go above 50° in the sky and this requires some trick by orienting the tube so that you can move down the handle all the way down, you'll then be block and cannot move horizontally but after some practice it is somehow manageable. End I'll think with better skies, it can provide even better result
