DIY Nail Art: Easy, Step-by-Step Instructions for 75 Creative Nail Art Designs

I purchased this for my 10-year old little sister who loves to paint her nails and switch up the designs all the time. She loves to make up new ideas to try on her nails, but she trouble taking her ideas and putting them to work in real life, so I got her this book. I will update this with her reaction once I present it to her, but for now, let me say that I think it is the best Nail Art instruction book I have seen. It is good for all ages, from 10 years old to adults. I have not seen a majority of the designs in this book, which is a good thing. And ones that I am familiar with but had no idea how to do, taught me how to do them easily. There are a ton of pictures to follow along with, and the instructions are easy as pie. The book is well made and durable. The cover is glossy and the pages are matte and thick. I recommend this book to any beginner wanting to try more advanced nail art designs but in an easy way. This book seems to be the perfect guide, and I have a feeling that my sis will love it!

This is an excellent book for DIY nail painters. It has a lot of great ideas as well as excellent step-by-step instructions on how to do those steps. It even tells you what will be needed for that particular design. I have used this book countless times, sometimes changing the colors up to my own style, but I can honestly say that I have used every design in here and I would buy from this seller again and again as well as the author! The book is well written and was edited well.

This is my first nail art book, since I'm a beginner, and overall I am mostly happy with this purchase. I have the Kindle version and I think it's a great value for the price. The designs included are very nice - I won't be using all of them, but certainly a great many of them. They are also very well explained using step-by-step pictures. I am giving it four stars instead of five for two reasons. First, there is really a lack in technique. Although there are a variety of designs, there are all freehand artwork, and there are designs missing that take advantage of other techniques such as masking and designs using the fan brush. Second, the book is very poorly structured. With this many designs, they should be split up into chapters, such as animal print, holiday, flowers/nature, etc. I appreciate having all the designs in one place (as opposed to bookmarking all over the internet#, but I am already seeing that I will have a hard time quickly finding designs that I like, or designs that all fall into one category that I'm looking for #e.g. holiday nails#. It should be very easy for the publisher to arrange these designs into chapters, and having a couple pages that show all the designs with their title would be very helpful too. Again, this would aid the reader in quickly finding designs since there are so many to choose from #which is s good thing!).

This is going to be a Christmas present for my 10 year old, who's getting way into doing her nails. The designs are all pretty clearly geared toward a younger rather than an older audience, as can be seen by the nail art itself. The photos are pretty clearly of a younger person's (good!) attempt at the designs, which is definitely a bonus given who the recipient is. I love the easy step by step instructions with big color pictures, and many of these designs look really cool!

I like this book its easy and fun to follow but the "looks" in the book are kind a of kid like not adult. I was looking to use it as a reference and it really does help showing you step by step nail art. but some pictures she didn't clean her nails after so there is excess nail paint around the nail just one of my pet peeves. Overall the book does show you step by step that is user friendly. My nieces love it so it does its part!

I love this DIY nail book it is one of many I have ordered. I am totally nail obsessed at the moment and because of this book I do my nails every week using it as a guide. Every design I've done everyone loved them. Designs are easy but you can always add to design to give a more intricate look, instructions are easy to follow and you can even just look at the photos and do the design. It's really an essential book for beginner DIY nail novice. Would recommend to anyone interested in nail art.

I love this book. It gives you easy to read, easy to follow step by step instructions to have beautiful nails that your friends will envy. Another thing that is great about this book is that it gives you a list of inexpensive items you may want to get to help you decorate your nails. It also gives you ideas for alternate items to use to decorate that you may already have in your home. With patience, practise, and this book, you can save tons of money by not going to a salon.

I am very satisfied with this book. I just started doing nail art on myself and daughter and found this book to contain just the right amount and type of nail art for us. I think the instructions are easy to follow and the ones that I have done already worked really well. I also noticed that there are several videos online to show step by step of some of the same ones in this book. I found this book very useful.

This is a fabulous, very well presented book for those venturing into nail art - there are pictures and easy step by step guides for every design plus some great advice on how to create your own designs. I found this very informative and accessible - worth every penny!

ce livre est tout bonnement génial des quantités de décors et super faciles a réaliser donc mesdames débutantes n'hésitez pas. le fait qu'il soit en anglais n'est pas du tout gênant puisqu'il y a des photos a l'appui.
