AcuRite 75100C 18-Inch Large Led Clock with Indoor Temperature

Bought this clock to put in a window to see the time in the backyard. Bright enough and large enough to see as far out as we can go. Good value.

I bought this clock in August to help my kids keep track of the time and date for cyber schooling. I wasn't sure how I'd like a blazing red LED institutional looking clock on my wall and I was a little concerned the light would overwhelm the room. I initially preferred blue, but the price was so much higher I went with red. I decided to go with Acu-Rite over an unknown brand because I have their hygrometer that still works great five years later. Turns out, we love the clock. The red is bright and has a nice, smooth glow, but doesn't burn your eyes or discolor the room. I can easily read it from two rooms over, so I can do chores and still make sure my kids are online at the right time. There was a problem, though. Just a little over a month after hanging it on my wall, I woke up in the morning and the display was completely black. I tried another outlet, which confirmed that the clock did not work. Since it was past the return date on Amazon, I went to Acu-Rite's website and chatted with a representative. (Currently, they only offer support through chat and email due to COVID.) While on chat, I provided my receipt and pictures, and THAT SAME DAY, they shipped out a replacement. Two days later I have a working clock before the start of a new school week! I hope this new clock works for years like my hygrometer. While I can't speak to the longevity of this unit, many people seem happy with theirs based on the high reviews, and at the very least, I can say that Acu-Rite stood behind their warranty and acted extremely quickly with respect to sending out a replacement.

We purchased this clock for an elderly lady that couldn't see very well. She couldn't see or read her wall clock. Decided to try this one and ta-da! She could read it!! Unfortunately, she passed away recently. We brought the clock home and mounted it in the garage. I can even read it way out in the yard. Note that this clock display is bright but adjustable. I would gladly buy it again.

Great clock. The 14", red digits are quite large for a bedroom but works well and is accurate to a second in a couple weeks. This is a very, very bright display which is too bright for my bedroom. I solved this very nicely and easily with 2 layers of window tinting film. From the local auto parts store I bought a roll of Gila Window Tint, 35%, regular smoked, cheapest version, which costs less than $10. Cut 2 pieces of the film that will cover the flat area of the clock face. It doesn't have to be exact. Then take a small bowl of water add some soap or a little dish washing liquid. Moisten a tissue with this soapy water and liberally apply to the front of the clock. Then apply the first layer of tinting film and starting from the center use a dry tissue and your finger to push air bubbles out towards the edge until flat. It doesn't have to be perfect. If you want the clock to be dimmer then apply another layer of film but instead of soapy water use something like a water-based lubricant such as KY jelly or vegetable oil. I found that the second layer of film didn't stick to the first layer using soapy water. Push out the air bubbles. You could also just tape the film to the clock face. If the clock had a dimmer control it would be 5 stars. [Edit 01] It's been over a month and the clock is still doing great in my bedroom since I solved the brightness issue. I've found that the temperature is very useful as it sets the tone for the night. It's kept accuracy to within 3 seconds in the last month. Well done.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Happy I got this. Large numbers, and bright, so I can see it from across the room. Easy to set up and hang. Temp, day, and date are nice additions.

I first saw this digital clock at Costco hanging on the wall for their employees, and I asked if they had it in stock. The staff member said they no longer carry it. I was disappointed because they no longer had it, but then I found it on Amazon. They are exactly as described! Great product, easy to use with vibrant colors and excellent quality.

I bought this around 10 months back and it’s still running strong. The battery helps for the backups. It has an auto light feature that dims to ensure I have a nice sleeping experience. If you need, you can always get the dimming stickers and stick it to the display to further better your experience. Anyways, it’s a good product, no complaints so far! 🧿

Buon prodotto si vede molto bene la numerazione un bel rosso acceso peccato però non fa le 24 ore ma solo le 12.. in più tocca munirsi di adattatore spina dato che arriva con l attacco spina europeo tipo inglese

I put it in my bedroom but I couldn’t reduce the bright it’s to much for a bed room

compare varios modelos de reloj digital para el hogar y este para mi gusto es el mejor, ya que tiene brillo automático cuando oscurece baja la intensidad del brillo y lógicamente cuando hay luz de día aumenta el mismo. con este ya son tres reloj de este modelo y marca y le doy 10 de 10 , pareciera que tiene un costo algo alto comparado con otros modelos y marcas pero vale la pena la inversión
