A great option for laptop. Very sturdy

The product arrived well packaged and fits its description. Looks aesthetic. Placing it on the wall requires planning for how it will be used. The pneumatic arm is a little difficult to move. The clips that secure the computer to the stand seem too Fragile.

This thing is wonderful. It's quite sturdy and far cheaper than other laptop arms like it. The only issue I had was that I had to use toggle bolts to mount it to my wall as the provided anchors were of no use at all and there was no stud where I needed to mount it. It's obviously a VESA monitor mount with a VESA compatible laptop tray included but that's fine by me.

The media could not be loaded. This arm adjusts in many ways. It's very versatile. I needed an adjustable platform to get my laptop off the desk surface. I occasionally use my laptop as a second monitor so it's nice to be able to pull it closer to my face at those times. Most other times, the lid is shut and just sitting on this like a floating adjustable shelf.There were many comments about not being able to close the laptop lid without the interference of the side restraints. The side clips are adjustable to make them wider and if your laptop is still too wide you don't have to install the side clips at all.As for mounting this arm to the wall; drywall anchors will NOT work on this. There are too many adjustments that put torque at the point of anchoring. You must anchor this to a stud or firm structural support.

Horizontal supports on the laptop tray broke on assembly. Made out of plastic, they cracked/broke because they do not fit properly or snap in place. The attachment screws from the arm to the tray are too lightweight in design and two of the four stripped out due to poor machining.Assembly instructions are very difficult to read and confusing due to small print and pictures on smaller sized paper. Online video is poorly produced.I am using an older obsolete laptop with this setup so I am prepared to sacrifice the computer if the tray separates/breaks away from the arm or the horizontal tray clips fail. I would not trust a newer expensive laptop to this set-up.You Tube Video review found the same problem with the inadequate horizontal tray clips and advised using a bungee cord to secure laptop in place.I contacted VIVO and they will send a new tray assembly. This product needs a redesign and better quality in manufacturing. I may drill out the current machine threading in the tray and replace with heavier nuts and bolts. I will probably use a bungee cord to secure laptop instead of current tray clips.I use other VIVO products pneumatic arms for two 27” monitors which are okay.

Easy to put together. Hung it on a wall as a laptop holder in front of my bike trainer. Highly recommend.
