I got the right size only cause I checked the reviews..
If I would have not checked other reviews, I would have ordered the wrong size I would have ordered large instead of medium..on the reviews the major complaint was if your a large ...don't order a large because it will be to big... order a medium which I did....there needs to be a size chart for this chef coat, so a person can order the right size since the chef coat seems to be one size larger then the size your ordering ....My body size is 180 lbs 5' 8".. neck 151/2" .. a medium fits perfect.....not large...I looked on line for a chef coat similar to this coat size chart and it showed the neck size is in the range of 151/2 " for a medium... that what I ordered ....It fits perfect..Good luck......

Very Nice!
Looking around town for one big enough for me was impossible. I chose 4X because normally 4X T-shirts fit in most cases where 3X can be a hit or miss. This coat fit perfectly. I am just barely under 6' tall and about 280LBS, mostly in the middle, with wide shoulders and a 42 waist. I normally wear a 52 Jacket in business suits. The knot buttons are going to take some getting used to, since I have never used them before, but I like how they look and one extra comes with the coat. All in all, a great purchase.

Great buy
My husband loves to cook. The problem is that even with an apron he would get stains on his clothes where the apron didn't cover. I had a hard time finding a real chef coat with the arm pocket and the knot buttons (most coats had the generic plastic round buttons). The sleeves come just above the wrist so you don't run your sleeve through the food your cooking. My husband wears a large t-shirt but a large in this coat was a bit big in the belly part.

Too Big
I ordered this in size small, I am 5'6" and 140 pounds and the coat is too long, it extends halfway down my thighs. The sleeves are also too long, but I could deal with that by rolling them up. I give it 4 stars because the workmanship seems good, with the exception of the Dickies logos everywhere that I plan to cut off unless they start paying me to advertise for them.

Pretty good
I've been wearing Uncommon Threads brand basic coats very similar to this style/design. I'm 5'10", 190lbs and wear a medium according to Uncommon Threads so I bought a medium Dickie's. The Dickie's fits a bit looser than what I'm used to but that's a preference thing as I like a closer fit. Despite that, I'm going to buy more in the future as needed because the construction is decent and the price can't be beat.In summary: I was nervous a medium size wouldn't fit because of brand sizing differences, but it fits despite being a touch looser than I'm used to.

Great Chef Coat
This chef coat I used in a bar atmosphere for over a year, this was able to withstand the working conditions, never tore, never did a seam even start to break! The only downside was when I first ordered the Chef Coat it was very stiff but some fabric softener and a few washes fixed that! Great quality! Very similar to the more expensive New Chef Apparel when it comes to style and quality. However, cheaper price!

Great to give that professional look when cooking for parties
Great to give that professional look when cooking for parties. We do a lot of entertaining at our house where I am preparing the food, usually on a large outdoor grill. I wanted something a little fancier than the standard barbecue apron with a funny slogan. Bought this with a Chef's hat and was a big hit at the next party. Since it is white it is a food stain magnet but it washed up just fine. The only down side is the cloth buttons are a little difficult to push through the button holes

Dickies chef clothes are absolutly perfect.
I've been a chef for a long time. I've worn Dickies pants for many years because they are tough, comfortable, and amazingly bleach resistant. These coats are the same stuff. They are supposed to be roomy and long... that way when you reach for stuff the hem does not go over the stove top and light you on fire... roomy because of freedom of movement and air circulation. Perfect, long lasting, and professional kitchen clothes.
