Easy setup, fast router, streaming works as advertised
The router came well packaged, includes it's own ethernet cable and power supply. Hooks up to your cable modem (or other internet access device) just like a regular wireless router, but you don't have to go to an IP address to set up the router - just go to the website they give you in the instructions (even from a different internet connection) and enter the code on the bottom of the router and you can set the wifi name and password. Then you can select what streaming services are located where. I was pleasantly surprised that although there are about 10 streaming services shown on the configuration page that you can select which country they go through (8 countries available for netflix!), there are many more services that are already default routed to the US - things that only support US like VRV or Pandora.I had no problems with the router's speed or range on the wifi connection, very comparable to a good 4 antenna high power router. It supports 2.4 and 5ghz wifi, and appears to switch automatically between them seamlessly, at least on my mac. Good speed even at a distance, and the streaming relocation works perfectly with my Roku, my mac, and my android phone (when on wifi).

Internet Speed is no longer a problem.
I am a Brit, living in SE Asia, wanting to keep in touch with UK TV. I used to use a highly reputable VPN, in conjunction with my Amazon Fire TV Stick. I was often frustrated by slow internet speeds when the VPN was connected, resulting in buffering. The main reason I was attracted to Stream Locator was the claim that - not being a VPN - internet speeds are not reduced when used. I can confirm that this claim is fully justified, and I am delighted with the results. In addition, Stream Locator performs far more functions - of more interest to dedicated streamers - than I am ever likely to use. I am completely satisfied with this product.

Lies about it's functions.
You will buy this expecting to browse basic geolocation services and all it will allow you to use is USA if you are in the USA so no point on buying this if you are in the US.Says it will allow you services outside the US but provides nothing.False product don't buy IT IS A SCAM.

Very limited capabilities
I am a bit disappointed in that product. maybe i was expecting too much, but i must say my expectations did not get managed by any documentation from the product. They have a tons of articles and how tos about what the product does but nothing about what it does not (and that you would assume it did). For instance the geo location feature is "locked" on the streaming services and cannot work independantly. In other words there is no way to ask the router to show your computer in this or this location, only your Netflix experience is being re-located (Netflix or one of the very services they cover - they dont even cover the major european countries/services like canal plus or RMC).I would have expected this feature, or at least some tools to add custom services, like mapping custom urls to a country or such. Once again maybe waht i am saying is technically not feasible or whatever with the technology they use, but they should document on how limited the features are. there is no way to figure out

It really DOES work!!!
Sure, I was skeptical; who wouldn’t be? You have to admit that it does sound too good to be true, and when one is confronted by that idiosyncrasy it usually is. So that’s why I purchased this via Amazon. Since I figured it would not work I could return it and get my $150 back because of Amazon’s return policy. However, the thing DOES perform as described. I was desperate because many streaming services blocked use because they can detect a VPN. So I gave it a shot after years of messing with VPNs that didn’t work more often than they did. Why then only 4 stars? Because the instructions are horrible. The manufacturer assumes it is plug and play. It isn’t. I struggled for 3 days trying to use the device. There isn’t a way to contact anyone for support. The FAQs were lacking in specificity. I wanted to use this with my computer, but when connecting to it via my laptop I had no internet connectivity. None. Zero. Nada. However, when connected through my Roku device...it did...eventually. Part of the problem is that the configuration has a 2nd page that is not intuitive to find. However, once I found the 2nd page of streaming services, where Almost all the popular ones can be found it came to life. The first configuration page only had Netflix and a few other obscure sites, which did work, but I didn’t buy this to use Netflix. However, once I discovered the hidden 2nd page of streaming sites I was able to get all of my accounts to work. So, if you don’t live in the CONUS and want to watch what you are paying for with F1, HBO Max, Hulu, Paramount+, Prime, etc., then BUY THIS. It really does work.

Give it a shot..
Stumbled across a glowing review of this on a UK YouTube channel and decided to try it out, knowing I could return via Amazon if it didn't work properly... So as many YT viewers show, it's a piece of cake to set up.. Being based in the US I've had to (painfully) deal with numerous VPNs to watch BBC iPlayer, Channel 4 and ITV content - and largely limited to iOS devices at that... This router/streamer now enables me to watch all of those apps via my 4k Apple TV and am loving it.. You just need to have a UK iTunes account, log-in under that account on your ATV and you'll be able to download those apps from the App Store.. it's obviously much more fluid to watch on native Apple TV apps then trying to mirror content from your iOS device. Not sure if this will work in X months/years as one would suspect BBC and the rest of the apps this streamer enables access to will be on the hunt to block them but so far, so good..
