After 5 years the BOSE L1 PRO16... Is still the most powerful, loudest, best sounding most technologically advanced, easiest to use, best-built, and lightest line arrays in the market BOSE invented this technology. Downloaded the app while you find and plug in a data capable-dual usb c cord to your laotop or computer and BOSE/Updater and the speaker will practically do the rest. Any cord from BOSE will update as many get stuck here. Anyways.! After a year or 2 of just doubting myself thinking my BOSE F1 812 was the final frontier.... I broke down and I just did it! (As in spent the money) Great thing about BOSE is that they retain 90% of their value even with age! As a matter of fact this set is worth MORE NOW ,THAN i originally paid for it! Magnificent and unheard of quite frankly.. That being said; this seller sent me a BRAND NEW speaker for the "used price" . Mint Condition = BRAND NEW apparently and thankfully! I should've purchased this spectacularly premium device years ago!!! There's no rival to this speaker (unless you pair it with more BOSE) Between the portability, performance and sheer (seemingly limitless power) I'm elated ! Most of these other companies water down specs and pray you don't read or ask any questions hoping you settle for gimmicks.They just add lights, tell you to go buy a 2nd speaker and add another subwoofer to the subwoofer that you just purchased to ""really" get the sound you REALLY want... wink wink Completely unessesary HERE with BOSE L1 PRO16 as you are getting more than what you pay for. Literally, if you purchased before Jan. 21, 2025... 😡 . IT'S TIMELESS! Regardless of what comes to market in the future; the L1pro16 WILL contend if not DOMINATE. I gave up the endless hours of late night searches and , researching and stressing over if we purchased the right thing or not. The ONLY way to surpass this speaker system is by (like I said before) purchasing not one but 2 of them( more BOSE). I don't know where anybody else goes from here? The build quality (like all things BOSE) is unsurpassed. The aesthetic makes your home look like you paid an extra $50k for a new room!. Get your vehicle ready for all the adventures you'll want to take it on or just chill at home in the house or yard !! ........My neighbors come outside to listen to them. The sound is so clean you don't even need to turn up the volume to hear these things. They just always sound pleasant and powerful! Please don't even get me started on bass. MY GOSH this thing has no limit on bass! It's a REAL 1,000WATT SUB.. 123spl ... I boost my sound to louder than that even. Plenty other companies can't compete bc they won't pay for premium parts to build a device like this on top BOSE engineers are .... 💯% PROVEN.! The SOUND.... It sounds like we're inside listening while we're outside listening?. The only reason to go inside is bc of the darn mosquitoes. I will be purchasing another no matter what technology is around in the future! This is a tall, dark, handsome, stranger begging to serenade and seduce those senses...!! I leave it on for a week at a time. It's crazy, fun🤪

Simply AMAZING! I’ve had several Bose Speakers, L1 compacts 1st generation, S1 1st and PRO, F1 models but this L1 Pro 16 is incredible in all aspects: it looks great, sounds amazing(both for live playing solo or in a band or DJ). I have done shows with up to six musician formats in hotel and other venues with outstanding sound quality using 2 L1 Pro 16. For smaller formats or venues a single speaker will do the job as well! Perfect product!

Amazing sound quality, perfect for outdoor or indoor events & for events up to 200 people.

This was bought to pair with the Amazon echo input device. I wanted to see what that would sound like. It sounds great. Room filling, exciting sound. I set the Bose volume to 4 and the bass and treble to 12 o'clock straight up. Told echo volume 8. Played Eyes without a face by Billy Idol and then Take California by propeller heads. Wow, I was impressed. Loud, clear, punchy. Bass you can feel through the floor. The Bose L1 16 rocks! I am so happy with my purchase. Just sold my main stereo consisting of 2 receivers powering 5 tower speakers. I wanted to downscale but have something that gave good sound. I love the looks of the column array and subwoofer. Very unique. The experiment worked. It worked so well that I bought a second one. The serial number is located on the bottom of the subwoofer. To register for the warranty, that number is required. Best sound system I ever heard

If you're looking at Bose, you know you're going to pay more - but, for that money, you should expect more. In this case, you're going to get everything you're hoping for - and A LOT more. The sound that drives from this system is just amazing... full without needing to be loud to achieve that fullness. Yet, when you need loud - it delivers - and then some!! It's a well built, crystal clear sounding unit with bass that thumps and is extremely full (without distorting on the peaks). I'm beyond impressed with this system... and I appreciate the effort Bose puts into their systems. Well done!!

We have four "legacy" JBL Eon One One Column units which we use in a wide variety of use cases and venues. They were simple to operate and easy to transport, especially with the rolling case. After one amplifier failed, we purchased a Bose L1 Pro 16. The Bose transport case cost $325. To our surprise, the Bose L1 Pro 16 fits reasonably into our existing JBL Eon One One rolling transport case! I suspect that the L1 will out perform our JBL Eon One One for _outdoor_ sound reinforcement and at twice the cost of the discontinued JBL. The L1 maintains the simple user experience of the JBL Eon One One, including Bluetooth connectivity. It adds support for phantom power. The L1 is not as portable as the JBL since the column is stored in a second case and the column connection system seems superior to the JBL. I detracted one star due to poor software compatibility with Mac OSX 13. I installed the Bose Firmware Program using Google Chrome as instructed. I installed and launched the program and connected to Bose only to get a flashing endless loop. As a result, I am unable to check the firmware version or upgrade the L1. On the other hand, my L1 works just fine without any firmware update. The Bose iPhone app does add remote control and the ability to select equalization curves for a number of microphones such as the SM58 (mic) and various guitars (inst.). These presets are not available on the L1 directly and require the use of the remote app. The iPhone remote app is a big buggy as the program often becomes unresponsive when trying to return to a previous screen. If I am persistent, the app does eventually respond. So, to me, the remote control app is useful for live sound by controlling volume at the Home Screen. It is also useful for pre-programming the preset IQ prior to an event. My personal use case is live jazz sound reinforcement, clarinet and vocals. My experience is in indoor sound reinforcement (using a traditional PreSonus sound board and flying speakers) and outdoor sound reinforcement using a PreSonus Rack Mounted Wireless Controlled unit with three powered Column Speakers.
