lightweight and makes great Ebelskivers!
I love my new pan. It's durable, yet lightweight and my Elbelskivers turned out great. I have used the heavier cast iron type in past and while it worked just fine, the weight became too much for me. Also, it was harder to clean. This one is a breeze to clean. Highly recommend it!

Worked great on glass top electric stove!
My family's Christmas traditions have always included a Christmas Eve meal of Aebleskiver with all the Danish trimmings. My children have been raised with this tradition, and now their children are doing the same. Over the years I have collected cast iron pans for all of my children so that they can continue the traditions. My youngest, a junior In college, has prepared Aebleskiver for his friends at school! My wife just moved to a new home after living in the old house 25+ years. Our Aebleskiver was always made on a gas stove. The new house has a glass top electric stove. I did some research on line and there were many comments saying that one could damage the glass surface on the stove by using cast iron pans. I communicated with the family that our Christmas Eve tradition might have to change.I then searched Amazon and saw the Norpro 3113 pan. Aluminum? Nonstick? From the comments written by other buyers, thy said that it worked well on their glass top electric stoves without causing any damage. Hmmmmmm. What do I have to lose?I ordered 2 pans and they were delivered super fast. When all of the troops arrived, the batter was tripled and prepared like always. My daughter helped me make the Aebleskiver, both pans in action over medium heat with adjustments alone the way. The Aebleskiver came out perfect. We used canola spray on the nonstick surface before refilling each time. These pans do what they say they will do. The cost is minimal and the nonstick is a real treat! Others may have other results, but from a guy who has "flipped and turned" Aebleskiver for 45+ years, these pans saved our family tradition! We will quadruple the recipe next year!!!

Excellent product - not a cheap one
The media could not be loaded. It’s heavy m, solid and hold all kind of heat with perfect no mess mould. It takes almost no oil - a little spray is enough. Use any std saucepan cover if you want to get it cook faster or need to keep moisture.Apart from traditional dessert items I made Indian spicy pancake (Kunji) with Idli or uttapam batter & mix veg etc.Cleaning is super easy - a drop of soap with warm water & cloth is sufficient.Used for a month or so - still looks almost new .. hope to try various out of the box recipes with this mould

Looks to be good quality but won't fit level on my gas stove grate
I wanted to have some fun with this pan but unfortunately I've run into a problem that I had not anticipated despite my attempt at careful research re. reading of specs and reviews. The pan itself looks well made as to the materials, is lightweight as advertised, and the surface appears that it will be easy to clean. What has me stymied to be able to use it, is that the bottom circular edge is not small enough to entirely fit level on my stove burner's grate, nor quite large enough to span the grate. If I remove the grate, the pan sits too low to the flame and only the center will cook while leaving all of the outside wells undercooked. Just a heads up to anyone considering this pan to use on a gas burner grate, to compare the outside circumference of the pan to their grate circumference.
