Breaking All The Rules

SO I'M AN OLDER FELLOW, BUT I LIKE MUSIC AND WHEN GREAT SOUNDS COME ALONG I BELIEVE EVERYBODY DESERVES A CHANCE, THE FIRST TIME I LISTEN TO THIS GROUP I KNEW I WAS HOOKED AND STARTED MY SEARCHFOR AVAILABILITY OF THIS RECORD. STILL SEARCHING FOR OTHER SONGS FROM THIS GROUP.

Another great album. These ladies can rock n' roll. I think I like the1st album better but the jury is still out

Ok, while its nothing that makes me any better than people who only got into the band when the album was finally released outside Finland, I have to admit that I remember having the first album on my PC long before that, and remember importing the CD direct from Finland, so I can guess you can call me a fan.I was suckered into buying the debut on the strength of the AC/DCish single "Spell", and that was a good thing. The album was good old fashioned straight ahead rock (and before we get started, I am judging them as a rock band, not as a female rock band as their sex is irrelevant).So anyway, when the second album was announced I downloaded the singles that preceded it, and thought that the song STFU was brilliant, quite possibly the best thing I have heard by the band.On the strength of the three songs I heard, I preordered the new album.I can honestly say its head and shoulders above the debut, and considering I really liked the debut, that tells you that I really really like this one.There is a bit more variety musically on this one, and there just seems to be a more instantaneous catchiness to the bulk of the tunes on here.From to start to finish its just one great song after another. The AC/DCish sound is certainly not so evident here, but its still a straight ahead rock record.Finland certainly seems to know how to turn out rock bands who know how to emulate the 80s rock sound without sounding like a nostalgia act.The band is also great live, and I would highly recommend seeing them if you ever get a chance.

This band kept coming up as a recommended album to buy, that album being ALL OVER YOU and am I glad after a check on the Tube I did buy it, and do not be fooled by the band name, these ladies play rock/metal and good at it, and turn out some great guitar work, this is there second album, recommend you give them a listen If you like Great rock music.

I'd recommend this album to anyone who likes straight forward heavy rock; this band knows what they are doing and hopefully they will continue to climb up the ladder. Recommended.
