Purchased these primarily for keys. I never knew there was a tool for these split rings until now lol. I suppose if you were crafting with them it would help to have the tool but I won't be using it for my application. Quality seems good and product is exactly as described.

I could definitely see these being the perfect addition to a dog collar, pet tag, or even **DIY jewelry**. But here’s where it gets *interesting*…Let’s just say, these rings are not *just* for your keys. I mean, who says they can’t be used as a fun accessory, right? 😏I won’t confirm or deny whether I *might* have experimented with them for some… extra *personal* use. 😉 But let’s just say, I’ve discovered that these rings might be **the most versatile, fun, and sexy accessory** I’ve ever bought. Functional for small projects but will distort easily. I already had one distort will minimal prying apart with the given tool. So, there is a distinct spring memory issue. Otherwise, I would have given these a 5 out of 5. I may have to readjust my review after our camping trip if they don't hold up there.

These are great for lots of things. I really seldom use them for keyrings but I do use them for hanging up bird feeders, flowers, hooking things together. They are durable, good quality, have a clean and sturdy appearance, like that there are different sizes, and their thickness gives me assurance they will hold the things I hang up. Bird feeders can be heavy. The bigger key rings fit well over a shepherd's hook. They work so well with a double hook also. I love macrame plant holders. These hooks work superbly in the top of these to hang over indoor/outdoor plant hangers. And of course, you CAN put keys on them ;-)

Strong easy to use

The sizing of these is great. The metal used isn't of quality though, putting them on keys they bend easy and don't hold their shape I've come to find out. Ive actually lost keys because of this.
