Review: Fire pit pad - I’m giving this mat a A+. I didn’t even know there was such a thing. When I used my fire pit on my lawn I had a big yellow spot afterwards. I saw this one on line and knew I needed to try this pad . There were many to pick from . I was going to pay $50 for one. Then I saw this one and decided why pay that much. And it work great. Used it for several hours and my lawn wasn’t harmed at all. 👍🏼 UP DATE!! Used this pad for the second time. 😔 burnt my lawn this time. So now I’m going to have to use something under the pad.

**Q: I have a solo ranger with a ring stand.  I have a deck made of composite (trex?). Will this work with that setup?**
A: I also have that set up and use it on my toy hauler back door in patio position. I have rubber matting on surface and have had blazing fires in solo...absolutely cool and normal under mat no distortion of rubber.

**Q: Will this work with fire stove inside tent?**
A: This will work perfectly in a tent. As long as stove is not in direct contact with mat and has at least 4 inches of  clearance between this mat will protect from heat damage. I have had coals drop onto mat with minimal damage to mat and none underneath by time coal was put back.

**Q: The description says to put the black side up, but every picture has the white side up. Which is correct?**
A: two side is fireproof, as black side is easy clean and waterproof, so put had better put the black side up.

**Q: Do i put the Black or silver side up**
A: Silver side up.  Radiates the heat away from whatever the grill is sitting on.

Put this under our wood fireplace. Product is what it says it is and dose it proficiency. Had coals fall on it and didn't burn through. Very satisfied with this product!
