Simple but does exactly what it should
This is a very, very basic waffle iron. It doesn’t even have an on/off switch, it simply turns on when it’s plugged in. Yet this old-fashioned appliance does a perfect job of making waffles, for an extremely economical price. My grandson loves waffles, and he is delighted with these. If you’re looking for a deluxe appliance with all the features, this is NOT what you need. But this should last for years with simple maintenance.

Cooks evenly and actually keeps the mess contained
We’ve been using this waffle maker regularly and it’s been a really practical addition to our kitchen. The first thing I noticed is how evenly it cooks. The waffles come out golden and consistent without having to flip or adjust anything mid-way. It heats up quickly and doesn’t take long between batches, which makes it great for busy mornings. The “no-drip” design actually does help. There’s a small overflow channel that catches excess batter instead of letting it spill over the sides and onto the counter. That makes cleanup much easier compared to other waffle makers I’ve used. The plates are nonstick and release the waffles cleanly without tearing. I haven’t had issues with sticking as long as the batter isn’t overfilled. Wiping it down after it cools has been simple. It’s compact enough to store easily and doesn’t take up a huge amount of counter space. For a standard household kitchen, the size feels just right. Overall, this has been reliable, easy to use, and much less messy than expected. If you make waffles regularly and want something straightforward that does the job well, this one has worked great for us.

Great Thickness, Fast Cooking, and Worth the Price
This waffle maker has great build quality and solid thickness, which makes it feel durable and well made. It is burn-resistant on the outside, so it feels safe to use while cooking. It heats up very quickly and cooks waffles fast and evenly. The size is perfect, compact but still makes a good-sized waffle, ideal for small kitchens and easy storage. It offers excellent value for the money, especially for how well it performs. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Worth Buying if you want quick easy waffles
This waffle maker is easy to use. After unboxing and giving the machine a good wipe down, all you have to do is plug it in and make the batter. At the time i bought this it cost me $49.99 plus tax, for a 50 dollar waffle maker it feels nice and sturdy. While the plastic parts do feel cheap the non stick iron plate feels like it's where all the money went and i'm not mad about it. Love the spill over tray so it takes some of the mess out of making waffles. Speaking of waffle making, it does it's job very well. The only help i can offer is if you want crispy waffles then leave the waffles in about 2 to 3 minutes after the green light turns on. I poured my batter in after the green light turned on and took them out when it turned on again (the green lights turns off after opening and pouring batter in) but they were very soft. (still fully cooked) The size of the waffles were nice, not too big or small and it cooked the waffles faster than i thought it would. It felt like it took only 90 seconds from pour to plate. I sprayed the surface with oil (the user guide says not to use cooking sprays with additives as it will cause the waffle iron to get sticky) but i had used one without additives. If you're cooking for 1 person i would use 1 cup of waffle mix with 3/4 cup of water and 1 Tbsp oil. This makes 4 waffles perfectly. I used Kodiak pancake and waffle mix. I poured the whole bowl into the waffle maker and it made 4 perfect waffles with little spill over. Well worth the money spent. The only reason i didn't give this 5 stars is because it is very annoying to clean with all the grid indentations. Trying to get in between all of them and around them without scratching it is no fun.

You'll Love It
I've always preferred waffles over pancakes and five years ago I tired of the cleanup job after making waffles so I tossed my waffle maker. In shopping for a new one, I found this Dash. What sold me on it was the overflow troughs on either side. They make cleanup a breeze. I use a vegetable oil spray, top and bottom prior to plugging it in. When The green light comes on, I put in the properly measured mix, close the lid when the green light reappears, I eat. I've made waffles 4 out or 7 days since it was delivered and have added blueberries or raspberries, or marionberries to about every other batch. They've all been perfect. Including hash brown waffles!

One of the Few Kitchen Gadgets That Actually Delivers on Its Promises
I don’t write many product reviews, but after several weeks of using the DASH No-Drip Waffle Maker, I felt compelled to share my experience because this is one of those rare kitchen appliances that genuinely solves a problem rather than simply advertising a solution. My family enjoys waffles, but making them was never something I looked forward to. Every waffle maker I’ve owned over the years seemed to create almost as much work cleaning up as it did making breakfast. No matter how careful I was with measuring the batter, it would eventually overflow, run down the sides, seep into crevices, and create a sticky mess on my countertop. Cleaning the appliance afterward was often more time-consuming than eating the waffles themselves. The first thing that caught my attention about this DASH model was the “No-Drip” design. I’ll admit I was skeptical. Manufacturers love to make bold claims, and many products fail to live up to the marketing. Fortunately, this waffle maker actually delivers. The built-in overflow channels surrounding the cooking plates capture excess batter before it reaches your countertops. During my first use, I accidentally added a little too much batter and immediately expected the familiar mess. Instead, the excess remained contained within the overflow moat. That feature alone makes this appliance worth considering. The cooking performance has been equally impressive. The 1200-watt heating system warms up quickly and maintains a consistent cooking temperature throughout the entire cooking cycle. One of my biggest complaints with previous waffle makers was uneven cooking. I’d often end up with waffles that were burnt in some areas and pale in others. With this DASH waffle maker, the browning is remarkably even from edge to edge. The waffles come out with a crisp golden exterior while remaining light and fluffy on the inside. Another major advantage is capacity. This unit produces four substantial waffle sections at once. If you’ve ever made breakfast for a family using a smaller waffle maker, you know how frustrating it can be to cook batch after batch while the first waffles get cold. With this machine, everyone can sit down and enjoy hot waffles at roughly the same time. That may sound like a small thing, but on busy mornings it makes a noticeable difference. The non-stick cooking surface deserves special recognition as well. I’ve used it repeatedly without experiencing any sticking issues whatsoever. The waffles release effortlessly every single time. In many cases, I don’t even need additional cooking spray. As long as the batter contains the typical ingredients, the waffles lift cleanly from the plates without tearing or leaving residue behind. What surprised me most was how versatile this appliance is. While waffles were the primary reason for purchasing it, we’ve experimented with several other foods and achieved excellent results. Shredded hash browns develop a wonderfully crispy exterior. Refrigerated cinnamon roll dough transforms into a delicious dessert-style waffle. We’ve even used it for biscuit dough and various breakfast experiments that turned out better than expected. Once you realize that a waffle maker is essentially a compact cooking press, the possibilities expand considerably. Cleanup is refreshingly easy. Since the cooking plates are non-stick, most residue wipes away with a damp cloth once the unit cools. Even when batter spills into the overflow channels, cleanup remains straightforward because the mess is contained in an accessible area instead of running into difficult-to-reach corners. This is one of the few appliances I’ve owned where cleanup consistently takes less than two minutes. The overall construction feels solid and thoughtfully designed. While it isn’t marketed as a commercial-grade appliance, it feels sturdy enough for regular household use. The lid opens and closes smoothly, the hinge feels secure, and the appliance remains stable on the countertop during operation. Sometimes budget-friendly kitchen gadgets feel flimsy right out of the box. That has not been my experience here. I also appreciate the Aqua color option. Most kitchen appliances today seem limited to black, gray, white, or stainless steel. The Aqua finish adds a fun splash of color without appearing cheap or overly trendy. It brightens the kitchen and stands out from the sea of generic appliances. Storage has been easier than expected. Yes, it occupies more space than a compact single-waffle machine, but that’s the tradeoff for producing four waffles at once. I’d much rather dedicate a little extra cabinet space to an appliance that saves time and frustration every time I use it. Over the course of ownership, I’ve found myself reaching for this appliance far more frequently than anticipated. That’s usually the ultimate test for any kitchen gadget. Many products seem exciting for the first week before being relegated to the back of a cabinet. This one has earned a permanent place in our kitchen because it consistently performs well, saves time, and makes breakfast preparation easier. At its core, this waffle maker succeeds because it focuses on solving real-world problems. It heats quickly, cooks evenly, prevents countertop messes, releases food effortlessly, accommodates family-sized portions, and cleans up with minimal effort. Those may sound like simple goals, but surprisingly few waffle makers accomplish all of them well. After many uses, I can confidently say this has become one of my favorite small kitchen appliances. Whether you’re making traditional waffles for a weekend breakfast, crispy hash browns for brunch, or experimenting with creative recipes, this machine delivers reliable results every time. It’s practical, effective, easy to use, and—most importantly—it actually does what it promises.

Value for the money
Very pleased with this purchase but will be getting a cooking oil sprayer to use with it. I swabbed the cooking surface with oil and the waffles came out cleanly but feel spraying would be better. Not a fan of aerosol sprays for non-stick surfaces, so sprayer instead. This is a non frills waffle iron, replacing the one I'd just for about a decade. I've never been without a waffle maker in my kitchen.

Just amazing
What an amazing waffle maker. Fast and no sticky pancakes. I highly recommend this one for bigger families. If I need to minner point out some minor points, 1* it doesn’t have the temperature control button, would not be necessary if it could turn. 2* the plates don’t come out. Despite this minor points it’s still a great addition.

La mejor wafflera!!
Me encantoooooo. Me encanta DASH. Ya tenía la mini pero necesitaba una para poder hacer en cantidad sin ir uno por uno y esta fue la mejor decisión. Estoy feliz por mi compra!
