great quality coffee. will buy again
the first order I placed with this company the pods came in and a few of them were busted but the company quickly fixed the problem and sent replacements plus another flavor to try. that was very unexpected and very awesome of them to do. the coffee itself is very good and I like them a lot more than the regular Nespresso pods

Inconsistent quality, often watery.
When the pod works correctly, it is pretty good, but far from great coffee. So far more than half the pods don't get a good pressure flow and a lot of water floods around making for a diluted and weak "espresso". The much cheaper pods at Trader Joe's work more consistently.

Finally, a great tasting organic espresso delivered in BPA-free capsules!
After reading the reviews, I decided to give these pods a try. The product description is what I was looking for such as BPA-free capsules, and organic coffee. I bought the variety pack to see which ones my husband and I like before purchasing more. I have to say that this is a great product and will be buying in the near future.

Doesn't puncture reliably, NOT a replacement for nespresso pods, Don't waste your money.
I was excited to try an alternative to the standard nespresso pods. Unfortunately, though artizan's coffee seems to be good, their pods are not reliable. You can't control the length of your shot, and most of the time get much less coffee than you should.Your nespresso machine allows you to use one of two preset shot lengths, espresso and lungo, or a manual shot length (start by pushing the button, stop by pushing it a second time). The manual shot length can be ristretto, or any length you please (up to a lungo). The machine then forces hot water through the pod under pressure for the length of time you've chosen. The characteristics of, for example, a ristretto and a lungo, are very different. Unfortunately, since Artizan's pods don't puncture reliably, much of the water isn't forced through the pod (and into your cup), but rather empties into your waste reservoir. See the attached photos of a lungo (original nespresso pod on the left, artizan pod on the right). The nespresso pod is punctured reliably, holds a seal, and all the water is forced through the pod. The artizan pod is not, does not hold a seal, and much of the water ends up in the waste reservoir. In addition to not having the amount of coffee you'd like, and not having the characteristics you want, you end up having to pull out your reservoir after each pod and empty it, to avoid overflowing onto the counter. It would be one thing if the artizan pods were consistent, but sometimes they'll take most of the water, and sometimes you'll try to pull a lungo and get less than a ristretto (or try to pull an espresso, and end up with half a ristretto). If you don't care how much coffee you get each time, like being surprised by what kind of shot you get, and like having to go through extra maintenance steps to prevent spills from the waste reservoir, this is probably for you. As far as I'm concerned, though, these are NOT nespresso compatible pods, since the key feature (push button espresso) doesn't work. The pods will fit your machine, but they won't do what they're supposed to do.Note: I contacted support about this. They told me to clean out the grounds and try keeping the pods in the freezer, so they would be more brittle and puncture more reliably. Cleaning out the grounds makes no sense (the grounds are in the pods, there is nothing to clean out). Keeping the pods in the freezer helped a little, but only if I banged the machine closed forcibly multiple times with the same pod.

GOOD organic coffee is the 1st criteria
Purchased these pods to try in a friends machine as part of the decision making process for a Nepresso Citiz of my own. GOOD organic coffee is the 1st criteria, fair trade, sustainability, ease and simplicity follow after that. I am VERY pleasantly surprised with ALL THREE varieties.I find all three coffees to be smooth and enjoyable, Rhino being "a go to more often", Cuban MIA. "more in your face", and, Heavenly, "a lazy afternoon". I will (have) reorder the 90 count version of this same variety (and, yes, bought a Citiz). I use a La Pavoni Europiccola espresso maker, a Keurig, and french press pursuing great coffee. I have spent tremendous amounts of money and time, grinding/roasting beans, and cleaning up coffee that disappoints. I am amazed that these little pods make mockery of all that effort, and, align all my criteria beyond my expectations. Coffee is VERY personal so try this sampler for yourself - my husband still prefers the Keurig and there is SO much to be said for a great shot from the LaPavoni but this is now my daily "go to" brew. Thanks for reading this, hope it helps!

Not really recyclable
The coffee is good, but don't be lured by promise that the pods can be recycled. Turns out, only in a large commercial facility. Pods are plastic, not aluminum. I've gone back to Peets, which really does offer recycling.

Great taste comparative to nepresso in my opinion
Great taste comparative to nepresso in my opinion. Organic too!The cup looks a bit cheaper than nepresso (the plastic feels weaker). So far I used 10 and had no issues.

Improper pod design
When it extracts properly, it tastes pretty good. The vessel of the coffee itself doesnt seat correctly and/or has a weak seal. The top rim of the pod breaks and the foil comes undone, getting grounds everywhere in the process. I wouldnt mind a few grounds but until artizan figures it out i wont be buying more.

Perfect coffee: just what I was looking for!
This product is such excellent value, it's almost too good to be true! I've been looking everywhere for nespresso-compatible, organic coffee that tastes like my (unreasonably high) standards and I finally found it at this bargain price. I'm just worried the supplier will stop making it now that I am addicted :-)

Breaks often with rarely giving a full shot
The coffee taste was good however these pods disintegrated in my nespresso. Sometimes leaving the pod in the machine while the top fell with grinds everywhere. It seemed to cause more problems than it was worth and I was happy when I finally got through all of them. I will not be buying these again. I've tried many off brand nespresso compatible pods and these are one of the worst in terms of quality/usavility/compatibility in the machine.

A nice change from the Nespresso pods
A nice change from the Nespresso pods. These are a little flimsy and hard to get out of the packaging but taste pretty good!
