Dyson Filter, Exhaust Dc50

I waited to write this review because I wanted to really see how the filter performed. To be honest it is awful. So I bought this because when you rinse the filter it needs to dry completely before you put it back in the vacuum and it never failed that right after I rinsed it I needed to vacuum something. Anyways I can always tell when this filter is in because it needs to be rinsed quicker than the filter that came with the vacuum. I guess having it is better than not having it, but it is no where near as good as the filter that came with the vacuum. I wouldn't purchase it again.

I had previously ordered a generic brand to try and save money, but the fit wasn't right so I decided to buy this specific product because it says it ships from Dyson so I thought I'd get the right fit. Unfortunately, it still did not, so I returned it.

Silly me - I didn't realize you have to clean this filter at least once in a while so the original really took a beating in our dog-and-cat house. This replacement is terrific. Our Dyson is dynamite again. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

After reading the reviews on the other offers for these products I decided to buy this product due to the reviews I read. To many of the cheaper items were said not to fit the Dyson model I have. They were shipped and arrived in three days. They fit perfectly. Save the hassle and pay a little extra for the correct product.

Make sure to know which specific one will fit in your vacuum. Worked great in my dyson ball purple upright animal vacuum.

I love my Dyson and re-purchase filters every 6 months despite cleaning them. I want to make sure that the filtration efficiency is at it's best as I am very sensitive to dust.

Easy to install. Will be buying ahain

Be aware that this item is just a compatible one - not from Dyson company!! - that fits UK Dyson models! Unacceptable!
