I ordered the 2" cable protector. Ultimately I returned it, but this was NOT due to product dissatisfaction. Though I didn't think I would be able to, I was able to squeeze the newest added cables into my preexisting 1" cable protector. Like most homes, I have a TON of external devices to my TV. If I couldn't fit all the wires in, I would have returned and reordered a 1 1/2" cable protector instead. I currently have ten wires running through the protector. The 2" size would have been overkill as I could have doubled the capacity, but also I'd have a substantially larger profile running down from the TV to the floor. Smaller is definitely better for the visual appeal.

The only thing that I thought this would have that it did not, Velcro tape attached to help keep it closed. I self-closes pretty well but I had to add a few zip ties on my project to make sure it stayed in place. The other thing I figured out that the best way to cut it was to use a "rope burning" element on my soldering gun, when cutting it with a knife or scissors it would fry badly, but by "burning it" it sealed all the strands back together

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to wrapping the rigging cables wiring, etc on my boat. I like how it will be able to breathe and won’t hold moisture, adds protection, and looks a little better in my opinion. So for the money it’s a good product. One down side is when you cut it, it will look frayed and a little messy if you look close. I folded it under itself where it meets the motor for a cleaner look. I just installed it so the real test will be to see if it lasts at least a few seasons. It’s secured tightly with zip ties every 8” or so. I only used 4’ of it so I’ve got plenty to wrap it again later if needed.

Easy to work with and looks GREAT! I melted the ends a bit.
