I've used many different anti-static mat products, all with very mixed results, meaning that despite having such products and using them correctly (I'm a very experienced electronics engineer both in my job and in my hobbies at home), over the years I've lost a few items due to electro-static discharge. None of the other products dissipated static charge so quickly and effectively as this product does. I have this rolled out on my work table covering its entire 7 ft. length. I've attached a grounding wire via a simple nut, bolt and washer fastening to one corner. You could use a metal snap if you wish. Whenever I approach and touch this mat anywhere on its surface, the high static charges that build up when crossing the floor in front on my work table are immediately and fully dissipated with a snuffed clicking sound but with no unpleasant discharge pain. I have all my sensitive electronic items placed on this mat and they are safe and sound.PROS: Rapid and complete ESD dissipation, pain-free, attractive color, high-temp resistant, reasonably priced, easily cut to size.CONS: It's a little 'stinky' with rubber smell for about a week. I'm very sensitive to chemicals and toxic gas venting, and I haven't had any ill-effects, having placed this in my work room without letting it vent in the garage first, and spending full work days in my work room.

Its not the prettiest green, but I can live with it. Ive had it out for 48 hours and its curling up at the edges. Not just where it was rolled up, but all along all 4 edges. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Product is great, but the initial smell is overwhelming. People are complaining of headaches from the powerful rubbery smell. I have only had it unraveled for a day, so I am hoping it will dissipate over time.

This is an awesome product. You can cut it to any size you need. I have it on multiple tables. And it's non-slip.

First of all, this thing smelled so bad when first opening that I couldn't even keep it inside the office. I had to leave it outside for a couple weeks. Then brought it into the garage - where it still continued to out-gas for months. When I finally brought this back inside to custom cut/fit to my worktable, I noticed it was releasing oily, sticky residue all over. What a mess! I proceeded to take it to the trash and will find a better product.Also, they claim this is a non-slip surface, but when I was cutting it to fit my worktable, it was sliding around like a piece of paper. Not at all what I would consider non-slip.Horribly disappointing product. I do not recommend it.

We have it it for aweek and though the smell would go away. It didn't. It smells, 'VERY BAD'. I returned it.
