The Paper Dolls is a stunning, lyrical story of childhood, memory and the power of imagination from Julia Donaldson, the author of The Gruffalo , and award-winning illustrator Rebecca Cobb. A string of paper dolls go on a fantastical adventure through the house and out into the garden. They soon escape the clutches of the toy dinosaur and the snapping jaws of the oven-glove crocodile, but then a very real pair of scissors threatens . . . The Paper Dolls is a beautiful and evocative story from Julia Donaldson and Rebecca Cobb, the bestselling creators of The Everywhere Bear.

So sweet.
This is such a sweet story. My daughter loved it! She's 3. She now wants to make paper dolls. The product picture is a little confusing as it looks like it should come with a CD or dis of some kind. We did not receive a CD. However, we love the story and illustrations.

LOVE this author. Everything she writes is so engaging and perfect for my 4-year-old ambitious reader. The story on this one is sweet and nostalgic for me, too. H

I am saving this for Christmas for my granddaughter, as an introduction to cutting out paper dolls. I think the book would be a good way to start a lesson in a classroom about families, friends or the diversity we have in this country.

Another keeper
Julia Donaldson doesn't disappoint. After reading this, my daughter immediately wanted to make paper dolls. of course, I can't remember how, so I have managed to stall her until i can google it :-)Never fear with a Donaldson book- they are all great!

A must have for kids...and parents
I bought this book for 4yr old daughter, she loved it and so did I. It's a simple story, it repeats itself, so perfect for young ears, but it has a deeper message for adults and that pulled at my heart strings. It's unassuming, but one of those books that will make appearances at the right times.

Dolce storia dai +3
L'inglese è semplice e facilmente comprensibile/traducibile.Lo consiglio!
