Bought in BROWN - on trend and a surprisingly versatile colour.This definitely runs small and I am so pleased that I took the advice of previous reviewers and sized up. I am 5'4", 54kg/119lbs and normally an XS/8. I ordered the size SMALL (would normally be XS) and it is a nice snug fit with a light to mid weight jumper/top underneath. Had I wanted to wear it over a thicker top, the medium would probably be more appropriate.The stand up collar isn't too bulky and doesn't irritate at the neck, as some gilet collars do. I love the back detail, which gives it a slightly fitted look and the side zip pockets are very handy and a good depth. The front and pocket zips appear to run smoothly and are reasonably sturdy for a lightweight body warmer.Some reviewers have said that the fabric and workmanship are poor quality and while it's not top of the range styling, the quilting and design give it a smart casual appearance and it doesn't look cheap. However, I have only given 4* because it is at the top end of the price bracket for similar gilets by better known branded makes, which do not offer the brown colourway. There is a good choice of colours and I may well buy a lighter colour (ivory or pale pink) for summer.

Pleased with this gilet, xxl in lavender, I am a large18 and it fitted well. The product was well made and finished, the three zips were of good quality and moved smoothly.

Size was too small, not in line with UK sizes. However the item itself was very nice, well made and good quality. I was sorry to return it.

After seeing the reviews I thought to order and if it turns out that I don’t like it I was ready to return but it turned out to be just a perfect fit for a size L. The colour is cool and feels warm as well, washing it would be easy and drying, would wear with cardigan, scarf or (as in the picture) long sleeves. Value for money. The only downside to it is that it’s not long enough to cover the bottom but it’s still cute.
