Good for the Price!
The value exceeds the cost for sure! Pretty easy and self explanatory to install. The only downside is the handle from the outside of the door. If you have an older, heavier door, it’s tough to get a decent grip and open the door with ease from the outside. Wouldn’t recommend for an elderly or physically compromised person. Nevertheless, a great deal for the price.

Fit well and worked
The lock on our 30-year old sliding door had broken. This replacement lock fixed it perfectly and allowed us to remove the broom handle from the track.

Garbage. I installed this for a client on a door that is rarely used and it has already failed.

Easy install to replace slider locks.
We found out, during Hurricane Ian, that one of our sliders had a broken lock. Even with the hurricane shutters closed, the wind forced the thousand lb doors open. We held them closed & stuffed two folded up puppy exercise pens, that were miraculously an exact fit, in the tracks to keep the wind out and that worked on that door but Ian ripped the locking mechanism right out of another slider on the other end of the house. I had a message in to a local door place to come out and replace both of them but while waiting I found this. I ordered two and replaced the broken locks in around 10 minutes each. Tip: as you are disassembling the old lock, take pictures. It’s much easier to visualize the replacement this way, compared to the instructions. At least it was for me.

All I can say is it works. For some reason, all sliding glass doors have flimsy , cheap handles and locks.
