Favorite Zinc Oxide Sunscreen
I have been using this sunscreen for 7 years and I love it. It's my favorite sunscreen for my dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin. It's non-comedogenic, fragrance free, and only zinc oxide so it's not irritating, doesn't burn around the eyes, and doesn't break me out. I've tried many zinc oxide sunscreens and this one is hands down the best. It leaves very little white cast relative to most zinc oxide sunscreens. Many zinc oxide sunscreens claim to be sheer but it's a complete lie (looking at you Neutrogena Sheer Zinc). This one leaves a very sheer white cast that I think for most light to medium skin tone people wouldn't be an issue. If you have a deeper skin tone you might like their tinted options. Additionally this one does NOT pill or flake off like many zinc oxide sunscreens so you can easily reapply throughout the day, including over makeup, without the texture getting weird. The only complaint I have about this sunscreen is I hate how the volume is just large enough that it's not allowed through TSA in a carry-on. They should either reduce the size by 0.1 ounces or make it bigger so there's not as much plastic waste.

worth the sunscreen
I bought this sunscreen for my wife, and I must say she absolutely loves it. It features a complexion SPF 50 – a mineral sunscreen designed to safeguard sensitive, breakout-prone skin with 20% zinc oxide, all without leaving that unwanted white cast. She has been using it for about a year, and it has been effectively protecting her face from the sun. She even started applying it to my boys, and now they constantly request it. While the price is somewhat on the higher end for a sunscreen, I believe it is worth the investment.

Amazing for fungal acne
My skin is oily, and fungal acne prone. This worked wonderfully for me! No breakouts! I love the texture, the way it makes my skin feel. I am pale, so no white cast for me. Takes a little extra washing to get off at the end of the day tho.

Thick and tacky, but effective and safe for sensitive skin
ORIGINAL REVIEW:Pros:-Effective-Safe for very sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin, even if my skin is peeling or "wounded"-Does not sting the eyes (and I have very sensitive eyes)-Minimal white cast that can easily be covered by makeup-Relatively cheapCons:-Extremely thick-Tacky, transferable, and never dries down-Since it remains tacky, it realistically can't be used on anything other than the face (where it can be covered with makeup). The first day I got this I used it on my neck, and when I later wore my hair down it got all in my hair. It took several days and washes to get the thick zinc out of my hair.-only SPF 40, and no PA ratingOverall, I use it as a second "layer" of sunscreen over my chemical layer, and under my makeup. I'm not sure I'll repurchase it though.UPDATE (04/2020): Initially I didn't repurchase this, but after a few weeks I realized that the makeup under my eyes seemed to crease more than it did when I used this sunscreen - the thick texture of this was actually serving as a smoothing primer and I didn't even realize it! So I repurchased, and I still use it under makeup. More recently, I tried mixing this sunscreen with No7's foundation drops to essentially use this as a foundation, and it worked really well that way, too! All in all, I would definitely recommend this sunscreen.

Great non-greasy sunscreen!
This cream is non-greasy, goes on smoothly and last hours. I have lupus and sun is my enemy. My dermatologist gave me a sample and it’s all I use now. They also make a sheer tinted moisturizer for faces with plenty of protection.

LOVE
I've tried so many sunscreen products. It's very important to me and I use it daily every single day of the year, rain or shine. Usually a product is good in many areas but doesn't check off everything on the list. This one is a pro to me for the following reasons...It's an elegant mineral sunscreen that doesn't sting my face or my eyes at all. My eyes are very sensitive so I must have a mineral sunscreen for that reason. Most mineral SS's are chalky, hard to rub in and don't work with makeup. The Blue Lizard SS was my HG for the longest time. I struggled with letting it go because I loved the sun protection it gave and I LOVED the mattifying capabilities. It was seriously like a primer. But the cons were it was just too thick and took too long to a) rub in, and b) dry down so I could apply my makeup. This is why I love the Cotz. It sinks in immediately and applies like a regular moisturizer. It's not mattifying but I'm fine with that bc of the other reasons why I love it. I have normal/combo skin and find I don't need moisturizer as this SS has a great deal of moisture. If you have very dry skin you might still need some underneath but I doubt it.On me it does not leave a white cast. It's not chalky. It dries down quickly. It's a great price and given the fact that we get 3.5oz instead of the usual pathetic 1.7oz this SS is so worth it in every way!If you're incredibly oily likely this won't work for you. But if you have normal, dry or combo skin then try this sunscreen. I've been so happy with it!
