It is very strong, has allowed me to use any case that doesn't include kickstands like my old spigen case did. The stand is very strong amd the arm does not bend when used. Even after a year of use it is still going strong and I've never felt it will break at all. The adhesive on it is also superbly strong, it is currently on my transparent case.

I had a previous case from ESR which had a similar stand built in to the design.However the case had aged and became a bit loose, so I wanted a new case. (Hinge was fine, the silicone was loose)Not wanting to buy the same case again, I went with a different case, however this would mean it wouldn't have the built in stand.Found that this stick on stand existed, and thought cool, but is it really gonna hold up given its sticky?Well, went ahead thought I'd try it.The stand did stick well to my case, even though it isn't glossy flat, it has a slight matt effect, it seems to be stuck really well.There are reviews which say it doesn't stick well, but with my case it worked perfectly.Being able to stand up the phone both vertically and horizontally is something I really loved with my old case, and with this I was able to have a different case and still have the stand!

I like how easy it was to attach to the phone and the feel of the mechanism. Seems to support my folding phone. Works best on hard flat surfaces. Could be because I mounted it at the bottom of my phone to not interfere with wireless charging coils. Wireless charging works as before. My only issue is added weight but that could also be a benefit to keep the phone more stable I guess.

the sticky adhesive could be a bit stronger but over all solid.

ESR have made a easy to use kickstand that applies to your case. You can choose to ways for it to be used giving you 2 different viewing angles depending on which way the the phone is facing you horizontally. I applied it to a Ghostek Atomic without any problems and can still fit a MagSafe charger directly above it. The stand feels premium and opens and closes without to much effort. Looks awesome in this particular colour if you have a bright case it will add extra flair.

Firstly, the phone case I use it the Mous clear case which is plastic and smooth. I made sure to clean the back of the phone case very thoroughly with the wipes provided, stuck and held down the stand for over a minute. It works fine with the phone horizontal and it's quite a sturdy mechanism (not flimsy) but the stand is awful at staying stuck on when the phone is vertical. It is not great because the more it falls off, the less sticky it gets. Very disappointed since around £13 is quite a lot of a stand that really doesn't last. Would really wish to get a refund.

Disappointed as I didn't realise that you can't extend the arm once it's open. Other kickstands have this feature where once you've opened the kickstand, you can further extend it for a bit viewing angle. Item returned.

The hinge itself is very sturdy. Unfortunately the adhesive isn't strong. You get 2 strips, but expect to blow through them quickly, depending on the material of your phone.
