Give Gig Grips A Try
The Gig Grips weren't for me personally, they just didn't fit my particular drumming style, but the professionalism and honesty displayed by this company when I expressed this to them is second to none. The Gig Grips themselves are great, but my unorthodoxed playing style inhibits my ability to use them. I would highly recommend that any drummer try this product. Just because they weren't for me doesn't mean they are not for you. These guys are drummers themselves, and they genuinely care about the needs of their fellow drummers, so give Gig Grips a try. You definitely won't drop your sticks anymore, and they may even help you to become a better drummer.

Good but not strong enough
It's helpful but ripped apart after 1 month of playing.

Very Nice
I've been dipping my sticks in liquid plastic, wrapping them in electricians' and friction tape to keep a grip on them while playing. Gig Grips work great for rock drumming, but I'm having a problem using them for drum rolls. Give me time, I'm still working on it.

uncomfortable
I've been playing for a long time (40 years) and thought these would help, but they are uncomfortable. I have found that just playing lighter is the key.

Kind of cheating, but a great concept and great help
I'm an old dude getting back into drumming just for grins and am having to re-learn everything. These force me to hold the sticks correctly, a big plus, and they keep me from flinging the sticks all over the room, an even bigger plus. I tried sticks that had been dipped in some sticky stuff and they were a complete waste of time. If you're having trouble with stick placement or retention you should absolutely give these a try.

They are comfortable, helps you hold the stick better if you ...
I bought a pair recently and they do work. They are comfortable, helps you hold the stick better if you have pains in your hand. You will not drop the stick. The problem is longevity. They only lasted a few months and then started wearing down to the point that it broke. If the company made them to last longer, I would give this product a 5. Unless you plan in buying a bunch, i wouldn't recommend this.

Very neat concept. After just two weeks with this my rolls are much faster and more powerful as I don't need to worry about the stick flying out of my hand.

I love "em 7 yrs now
I love these. I have used them for 7 years at least. I like the Black the best. The won't ride up on the stick. I haven't dropped a stick since. What I don't like. The Ghost color has a lot of oil in the item. They constantly move. Horrible. I'm trying to find some black ones today. Amazon says no. I used to get them sent from the Carolinas for $9.99. I think I paid a bout $25 for the last pair. Price is stupid now. But I won't play without them. I might have to settle for white today.
