Nature's Table: Refined Recipes from an Alpine Chalet

This is one of the most beautiful cookbooks I've ever seen. There are tons of gorgeous photos that represent not only the recipes but also the chef's philosophy about the closeness of nature in the Alps and his cooking. The recipes are complex, but serve to inspire any one truly passionate about cooking. This is a great book to study and to use as a coffee table book. I think it pays a great tribute to a 3 Michelin and M.O.F. chef and his artistry.

Its a nice book with some great recipe, but there are very little explanation as to what the flavor should be like. what was the thought behind the dish. I just hate it when there is a recipe which no foreword, Also there are tons of pictures that are useless, they have nothing to do with cooking, they should have been used to show techniques or show the dish !Shame this book could have been great.....
