Taste was excellent but all was broken in pieces will not order again too fragile

I paid for this ribbon candy for a Christmas gifts for a dear friend. It is one f her favorite memories from childhood. When it arrived I placed it in a bag along with a few other gifts. And then gave it to her. She opened it up to the disaster that are in the pictures. She then informed me that the candy was inedible.So not worth the money a spent on it and if I could give it 0 stars I would!

Taste just like the ones I used to have growing up as a child. Unfortunately the majority of them were broken when I received them despite the bubble wrap packaging. I would say that this is mostly in part to the fact that the mailman shoved them into my mailbox and crushed the package. I would still purchase again for Christmas.

The product tastes great. I was disappointed to see how poorly it is packaged for shipping. Most of the ribbon candy was broken. I was going to give the 2nd box as a gift but don’t want to give a poor looking product.

This has been out of stock for quite awhile due to a company named "Quality Candy" buying this brand out back in 2019 and it has made its long awaited return, made my order, finally got my box, I still had alittle bit left from a old box I had before the buy out and compared the RED (cinnamon) ribbon candy and there is a big difference between the old versus the new...the old had the straight cinnamon candy taste...the new? it taste like cinnamon but you can tell its very different, it taste sort of like im eating some type of chemical on the candy, the taste is way off, and its differentthe old pink ribbon always tasted like a peppermint/cinnamon combinationthe new pink ribbon? i bit into it and was ready to experience the same... a few seconds later, I was appalled and tasted strawberry??What in the heck happened? I dont think this new company that purchased out Sevigny's is just good at all, they flavors are different and like everyone else, yes mine came broken in pieces also and it felt sticky and its bad where you cant even break the ribbon in pieces that you want, you gotta put alot of pressure just to finally break a piece off.If anyone has any recommendations on other ribbon candy that comes close to Sevigny's, comment in my review because I want something that is exactly or closely taste like the old classic Sevigny's ribbon candy that I use to know before this new ownership took over.

If it would have been given as a gift, I would’ve been totally disappointed would not purchase again because of the condition of the candy being broken.

Ordered 2 boxes of ribbon candy to use and consume during this holiday season. The candies have net and surpassed my expectations requiring taste and festive appeal, as I plan to incorporate the ribbons on cookie trays. My only issue is that one of the boxes arrived mostly broken into little pieces, which will hinder my plan to use on my holiday cookie trays and other holiday offerings. I did expect some breakage...that's why I ordered 2 boxes, but the 1 box is unusable. I will order again next year and hope for better results from shipping..
