Kids lost the remote and we were in crisis mode. Thankfully, found this on Amazon's and it worked straight out of the box. No programming, no issues. All the buttons I need work as expected. There is a shortcut button that doesn’t work, but I never had that in the first place so it doesn’t impact.

I’ve spent so long trying to get a freaking remote to work for the TV that my friend gave me lol and I’ve been using the TV without a remote and the TV only has one button and it’s so annoying that when I got this remote on sale on prime day I was like waiting to even use it like gearing myself up to figure this one out and I put the batteries in and I was like OMG there’s no instructions lol and then I accidentally pressed the button and it worked. It just worked. It just worked immediately on its own. I don’t have to figure anything out or open any settings. I’m literally amazed.

I would have given it 5 stars -- but the buttons for netflix are so touchy and so close to the sound slider that it is easy to turn off TV viewing accidentally and go to netflix. Otherwise, it is more attractive, less cumbersome and easier to use than most others.

Bought this for my VIZIO smart TV after the original remote mysteriously vanished (thanks, couch cushions). Popped in batteries, no setup needed - it worked right out of the box! All the buttons respond quickly, and it even handles smart functions like Netflix and input switching. If you’ve got a VIZIO, this remote is a no-brainer fix.

Since I didn’t like my bulky original samsung controller I went with this and lifesaver looks nice. Doesn’t have so many buttons and works by just getting it close to your tv. I prefer this controller over the original one. had it over a year and still working great

The front part of the remote itself looks new and works, however the back cover appears to be covered in alkaline solution from an exploded battery and is scuffed so its definitely used. The bag it came in was cut open and not sealed, probably the first clue. I am also unable lock in the back cover securely, its probably from a similar but different remote. Disappointed, will return hopefully get a new item this time.Update: Received replacement in about 24 hours, this time the battery cover fits as it should. Couple months in so far so good, however TV does detect that it is not an OEM remote so some advanced options not longer work, but that's not a problem for every day regular use. The old OEM remote use to work with my Xbox too, which was unexpected and really cool, this one does not.
