Got this for my Floridian father-in-law who is frequently outdoors and beach fishing. He typically wears an XL but I went with an XXL and figured he could exchange. He said that the XXL is perfect because it's not skin-tight like the shirts normally are, especially on the arms.

I’m now a believer in wearing this type of material for hot treks and long fishing days! The old days when this stuff first came out they just got clammy and sticky and held bad odor. Not the case with with this! I bought another for day two! Kept me cool on the hour hike, cool in the hot sun while trout fishing, cool while riding dirt bikes, warmish when the cold afternoon mtn rain storm came, and so comfortable all day! Attractive as far as going to the lodge for evening re cap too! Heck I felt like I was proudly yet subtlety boasting of being a fisher! It’s a cool shirt!

I started out with a similar shirt made by Colombia and really liked it but they quit making it. So I sought out several different makes of this type of shirt and none had the fit or finish. Shoulders that poke up , strange fits..I finally tried this one and really really like it. I would say more so than the original Colombia. These are super nice shirts. I wish one could get them without the "fish" or some other option but regardless I will be getting more. A little long but other than that a great fit per size.

Love these shirts. Quality is good 4 stars. Service is 5 Stars. Fit is larger than most. Normally I take a large 42/44" chest and 5'-11"/195# athletic build gone to H E double hockeysticks due to age and my new hobby (eating)Seriously, these run large like many of the reviews suggest. I like the room and white to go on a hot day. My next order will be a medium for certain because the other shirts in other similar styles and fabric are most definitely a tad smaller even though they are labeled as large. Koofin needs to redo their chart as even I did not believe them at first. When was the last time you saw any shirt with a 42" listed as medium? So other than that, caveat emptor on choosing size.
