Great alternative to Ring Doorbell - but have minor sound issues
Managed to wire and install myself :-) - only downside was the cable was not long enough and had to 'splice' cables together (a very kind gentleman at my local CEF Electrical Factors did this for me) and then hide the cables in mini trunking to my socket. The only issue I seem to have is that you can hear the doorbell outside, but I cannot get the inside USB ringer to work. This is an issue, as I have to rely purely upon alerts on my phone. I have tried to 'pair' it etc, I have a blue light, but never any sound :-(The sound quality is good from close up, but if there is a disturbance (which is sadly common where I live!) you cannot hear very well what is being said. Would have rated higher if the quality had been better, as part of the reason for purchase was to help keep the neighborhood safe and provide evidence for the police if needed. It picks up sound from quite a distance too.I have displayed a CCTV recording in my window - make sure that if you purchase any type of ring doorbell, and if you will be recording past your boundary, you need to display this. A recent court case resulted in legal action, due to a neighbour recording without a sign, not so much because of the video recording, but because of the audio recording.Overall, I recommend this - refuse to pay Ring Doorbell prices!

Great value, great function
Beautifully packaged on receipt, wit an Apple like quality to the whole item. Been working about a month now since purchase.Pros - quality build, good picture quality - does the jobCons - My Wifi can struggle occasionally reaching the bell (not necessarily the bell's fault). There can be up to about 30 second delay between motion alert and notification on the Android app - typically about 10 seconds. The separate bell chime rings immediately on press, as it does not use Wifi. It has once lost Wifi connection without recovery, which rectified after I removed the doorbell, disconnected the power, and reinstalled (don't know what the problem was).Overall I would recommend the bell. For those wishing to view the camera from a computer, I have managed to use VLC to connect to the doorbell camera (and microphone) via ONVIF. You need to activate Onvif in you phone app, complete the settings then you can use the following rtsp format to connect.rtsp://admin:password@ipaddress:8554/Streaming/Channels/101My Wifi speed did not properly run the video at this higher quality picture - I use 102 rather than 101 which is a lower quality picture, but works fine.

POOR QUALITY AND DOES NOT WORK. SELLER HAS LEFT AMAZON
The image jumps quite a bit even though it is only a few feet away from the router. I have bt full fibre which is very reliable but still this is poor. I’d suggest Avoid this manufacturer

How to RTSP Real Time Stream
For those interested, the magic URL for Real Time streaming or viewing via VLC Media Player or an IP Camera monitor is:-rtsp://username:[email protected]:8554/Streaming/Channels/101andrtsp://username:[email protected]:8554/Streaming/Channels/102where username, password and 192.168.xxx.xxx is your username, password and LAN IP address respectively.101 is high quality stream and 102 is a lower quality stream.I was able to enumerate details via the ONVIF protocol although the RTSP URLs above are far quicker to use.I am still evaluating my product before I deploy it. It runs warm. There is pride in what they've sent me, so well done MECO.That this device, a, has its own SD Card storage, b, offers basic ONVIF or more usefully RTSP streaming, c, purports 2K, makes it a very interesting device at this play-thing price level where more expensive competitors (RING etc.,) don't. Lets hope MECO don't nobble the firmware downwards.PS: I am going to be cautious about security with this product. There is a MECO Admin backdoor userid showing up in its internal data, and I am not sure whether this is used by the supporting CloudEdge management application or not, but beware that it is possible that third parties could gain access to the video and audio streams. The CloudEdge app could do with a little more work, such as the ability to customise the Application's alert tone within Android, and some improvements to the Notification management. It was easy to setup taking 5 minutes.Picture quality is a little fish-eyed. Compression isn't the best. I have 4K IP Security Cameras, hard wired, that look better, however this replaces a simple doorbell, is wireless, and gives you a simple 2 way intercom, so it has its role.Lets see how long it lasts!

Great doorbell camera
The only downfall is the app that runs it, if the app breaks for any reason the camera is useless until the app has had a patch on it. This could be brilliant if the app was looked after better. The camera has a good range on it and has fantastic picture quality.

Excellent Picture Quality/ Easy Set Up
Excellent picture quality and easy to set up. A low audible humming noise from the transformer which I brought as my existing system was not suitable to fit the ‘jumper’ cable. Only downside is that the motion detector picks up cars when set to people. Customer Service is good answer within days. Looking to purchase a camera to enhance security but cannot find a UK supplier.

A good camera but cloud edge app could be better
Mostly fine, sometimes it doesn't work. There is a delay between sensing motion and receiving an alert on my phone
